Hi BW, hope you're having a good weekend.

This week seems like a moment of truth for a lot of teams.

The mystery game I still feel is the San Francisco game and their QB Colin Kaepernick.

The Baltimore San Francisco game is the revenge of the Superbowl from a previous year. Kaepernick was basically 4 yards away from winning the Superbowl, as they had the right play called and the blocking was there for Kaepernick to run it in, but someone called timeout from the sidelines, I think it was the coach Jim Harbaugh. They did not score after the timeout, and the rest was history.

If Kaepernick will ever get his act together, he has to remember how he lead that comeback and almost won the game.

The defense of San Francisco is not as good anymore. The running not as punishing. However, Kaepernick can carry this team. He's done it before, but has looked lost for about a year.

They say Kaepernick is not that good at going through his progression when he drops back to pass. That could be true. What they should do, is tell Kaepernick to look down field first, and if it is not there, then to his tight end Vernon Davis short or a running from the back field has his check down, the security blanket.

Very few QB has his running ability. Kaepernick really has two security blankets, the tight end or his legs.

Look down field, once or twice, then the check down or run. That is a few options for the QB there. But the San Francisco offense never does that anymore. All they do is the check down throw.

How did they go from one play away from the Superbowl to being this one dimensional?

Look at it another way. Kaepernick beat Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers twice in the playoffs the past few years. This year, Kaepernick could only manage 3 points in their earlier meeting. Something is messed up.

That is a real mystery.

Best of luck to your plays this weekend BW.

Indiana, thanks . Off to a bad start picking the Falcons. Go figure. The Saints have the worst defense in the NFL, and yet the Falcons couldn't out score them?.
