I am leaning towards Herring in this one.

He has the striking and experince. But Lesner has the power and wrestling and ground and pound. I would have thought the betting odds much closer but since Brock is a big name and popular, so the betting lines not as accurate as they should be. If this fight goes past first round what is Lesner's endurence?

At +210 good betting odds in my mind so i am all over this bet

If your going to bet Herring I suggest you wait until the night of the fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Herring jumps up to +250 or more.

Are they serious ?? How can Lesnar be such a fav against an experienced MMA fighter like Crazy Horse , thats sick .
How is he gonna win ?

KO = very unlikely
SUB = FK NO !
GNP = maybe but Crazy Horse wont tap easily and can grab Lesnar's any time .

Can Brock take a punch ? What if Heath punches him in the face few times ?!

he is a fav because of his name. he might win but the odds should be way closer than what they are so my money is on Herring

Lesnar GNP for the win IMO. Lesnar is too strong for Heath and punches harder. The submission is obviously an issue but if Lesnar didn't hit Mir in the back of the head, Lesnar would have TKO'd him a few seconds later and Mir's submission game is better than Herring's.

If Jake O'Brien can hold Heath down for 3 rounds, I don't see why Lesnar can't.

If you're betting against Lesnar, you're really just betting on an unknown variable here since the few seconds he's fought doesn't tell us much. It's like betting on Herring against Hong Man Choi. Both are just freaks of nature with a large size advantage and some skill in at least 1 aspect of MMA.

Herring isn't your slick submission artist either, so I think Brock powers out of those attempts.

It would be a hilarious turn of events to find out that Lesnar had a glass jaw and crumples at a solid punch, though I wouldn't bet on it.

Lesner has a fuckin hugh head, he looks like he can take a punch.

His arms and and neck will be too big for herring to submit, as mir even said he couldn't, and mir is far better on the ground than herring......Brock will over power through any sub herring attempts.....herring couldn't stop kongo or o brian from the takedown, brock is an extremlly large version of o'brian......Herring will either get TKO'd(most likely in the 1st round) or he will lose a desision.

only way brock loses, is if he forgets not to stand over his opponete and gets leg locked again. ( i think he is a little smarter than that.)

Remember... there is no value in a loser. (rather lesner has to lay on him for 3 rounds, or he TKO's him in the first, a herring play will still be a loser.)

Just to play devil's advocate here, Herring fought O'Brien with some sort of ACL injury. He could not sprawl at all.

He took a pay cut because he wanted to test himself. Had enough money in the bank from wrestling.

Lesnar was making a couple million a year in the wwe. he was one of their top stars when he left. he quit cause he had become tired of being on the road 250 plus days a year and always had a dream of playing pro football. when that didnt work out he moved onto mma.

betting herring looks too easy, I smell a rat. sure as hell can't bet lesnar at that price so probably best to pass on this fight altogether.

herring does not look easy... geez louise. i am not betting this one but lesnar deserves a price close to what he has.

herring is a douche with 13 losses on his record... i doubt we see him be able to hold down lesnar, i doubt we see him be able to submit lesnar... he has had 4 str8 decisions and has not stopped someone in nearly 2.5 years.

why a guy like that should ever be favored against anyone is nuts, which is partially why he is a dog here.

Lesnar deserves his price based on what, his 2 fights? He's favored because of his name. Herring may have 13 losses, but also has 28 wins which is a winning % of 68%. Lesnar is what, 1-1? Guessing even you can figure out his winning % there. Wouldn't at all be suprised to see some controversy in this fight since Dana & co do not want to see their Kimbo lose 2 in a row. But still, anyone playing Lesnar at this price (-260 currently @ 5D) is a damn fool.

he maybe favored for his name but honestly im taking lesnar not betting but just picking him to win (dont like the odds and think it will be close either way) but hearing has never really impressed me a whole lot excellent stand up probably underrated but no ground defense and brock, besides the wwe is an accomplished wrestler. think he will just be too strong and over power heath. but if heath can strike early and fast maybe able to surprise him like mir did, cuz frank almost got ko he was rocked for a few secs and his experience saved him if that fight went any longer i dont think he would of been able to pull it out like he did

if hearing wins will be by decision
if brock wins by ko or submission 1st or maybe 2nd round

no way Herring wins a decision in Lesnar's home state with the crooked UFC influenced judges...
