Saratoga proudly presents The Travers Stakes (Grade I) for 3 year olds running 1 & 1/4 miles on the turf for a purse of $1.000,000. Appears that Shackleford and Coil will share the lead and likely establish a fair pace. Not sure these two will like the 1 & 1/4 mile distance. Looking at one who should be clear to make his move and have plenty left in the stretch and finish strongly.
