BREAKING: Oklahoma just passed a bill making it a FELONY to perform an abortion

AP – The Oklahoma Legislature has passed a bill that would make performing an abortion a felony punishable by up to three years in prison.

The Center for Reproductive Rights says the measure is the first of its kind in the nation. The bill also would restrict any physician who performs an abortion from obtaining or renewing a license to practice medicine in Oklahoma.

With no discussion or debate, the Senate voted 33-12 Thursday for the bill by Republican Sen. Nathan Dahm.

my position,

the first trimester all adults can have an abortion if they so choose (minors need parental permission, politicians can never ever raise our children)

2nd trimester, legal after consultation (just looking for something middle of the road)

3rd trimester, when the baby can survive outside the womb and is thus a person with constitutional rights, BANNED with the exception of situations where the mothers life is ACTUALLY in jeopardy

In a nutshell, even if you're not a religious person that believes that life is inherently sacred and begins at conception, one has to critically
think about the argument that (especially in the third trimester) it's not just about a women's isolated decision about her body, the baby
in the womb has rights. So if we're going to talk about "women's rights," what about the female's rights in the womb, the innocent child
that is getting their brain smashed by a metal tool, or whatever. It's just so evil, and the DNC thrives on it.
