well, i'm gonna try anyway. i had a good football season and a very good college basketball season. bases have been rough and, i know its only been a week or so but, i'm starting to feel a grind. plus, i was not being totally honest with my wife which is not good.

i still have a few future bets pending, i'm in the v-wager baseball contest and i have a side-bet with d2bets which i will honor, of course. but, the daily gambling is really starting to wear on me.

i am anxious to see if i feel better and use my time a little more wisely. i also wonder how soon it will be that i will get the urge again.

good luck to all of you.

Good Luck Blue. Hardcore gambling is an addiction. not saying it is bad but if you do have a wife/kids it is not the thing to do on a nightly grind. I quit betting baseball nightly and stick to Football and some college hoops. The family time is immeasurable.

doesnt have to be a grind however, just set aside time for capping.. it takes me a set amount of time, then i turn my plays in and im done..

All the best Blue. Enjoy your time off and good luck on your future bets, except for that one "side bet"...though you sharped me on that one and if I had to cap it now I'd bet on you for that one.

Good move and good luck. Why be involved in something that is making you miserable.

BTW
Hopefully "my buddy" will be back next season and you can jump back on board. Afterall we know following him is'nt gambling, more like an investment

good decision Blue,

The US government, and the Jewish media force feed this fraud game called baseball on the American public. Without Barry Bonds this regional game is way past its time. hey batter batter swing.

Force feed? How exactly do they force feed it? It's barely ever even on national television. The game remains because many people still enjoy going to the ballparks and team loyalites passed down generations is stronger than in any other sport. Just because the game isn't watchable for you doesn't mean others have to feel the same way.

See - Fenway park - sold out for the season (at astrominical ticket prices to boot). How do you force feed 3 million tickets sold?
