Boxing forum????

I know its something that we have all asked for at one time or another, but I wonder how many people agree with me right now. It seems that lately when I come in here, I have to scroll way down to find and boxing or MMA threads. It seems to get burried under Nascar, golf, soccer, cricket and a bunch of other sports. I dont mean any offense to people that bet those sports, as I have bet golf before, but boxing's popularity as well as people betting on it has grown and maybe we could have its own thread for now and see how it goes. Esp since hockey really doesnt need one right now

maybe call it" combat sports"......pride...king of the cage...ufc....boxing....k-1....and if anybody`s a masochist they can discuss "wrassling"....and maybe even "the apprentice" or "sisters" for the really tough among us......
with the contender and the ufc show on national t.v., i suspect this stuff will start garnering more and more fans...

and how many forums get occasional visits from the preeminent odds maker drawing breath today?.....and now that i mention it,joey oddessa peaks in on occasion,too(lol)...:dogtoilet ...slummin` ,i guess....

i`d like to see it...but i doubt it`ll happen...:notlisten

btw.....i`ve been checking the obits for almly.....nothing so far.....

me too...April is a huge month too with a LOT of big fights coming up.

I don't know what the big deal is. We have been calling for our own thread for some time now. I think in the "Other Sports" thread, boxing is most popular and consistent. Without those that chime in on boxing topics, it would be dead IMO.

I don't know what the General has against endorsing this small request. It is as if TheRx feels that boxing isn't worth having its own thread.

We have been all through this. The powers that be aren't giving us any love in this regard. They have their own reasons, and I don't agree, but I don't run this website either. Keep trying I guess.

I know we have been through it, but its worth a shot anyways. I think that there are alot more poeple and more money bet on boxing and MMA than on hockey anyday of the week. I have nothing against hockey at all, Ive been a player all my life. Just not the best sport to gamble on... just my opinion
