Any thoughts on the "Long Hitters" like John Daly or Bubba Watson being in the mix if they can keep it straight. i read the course is over 7,200 yds long.

Very funny you say that. I use two online books for outrights and not one of them offered Bubba Watson. I think both books listed about 85% of the players competiting too. It pissed me off a little bit because I did want to throw a little on Bubba. As far as Daly I will be backing him 100%. I have always loved Daly and his game, but did not pull the trigger on the 150/1 odds he is currently at.

I wanted to keep it to three people for my outrights (Listed above) but my players who I almost bet but did not make the cut were:

Camillo Villegas 59/1
David Duval 84/1
Brandt Snedeker 84/1

After Round one:

Mike Weir -3
Anthony Kim +3
Ian Poulter +5

Weir played well from beginning to end. Actually could have shot around five under but missed a couple of putts.

Kim shot a 9 on the par 4 second which really set him back. Without that he might be sitting at 3 or 4 under.

Poulter looked absolutely terrible from beginning to end. Could not get anything at all going. I am absolutely shocked by this. I really thought he would come out strong today especially with the great conditions the course was playing in.
