Bowmans Props in the Phila Inquirer

On my way to NYC MOnday morning I saw a large box in the Phila Sports section with various Eagles/TB props for the game. The were ascribed to being listed from Bowmans (website adress included).

Seems kind of shady for a newspaper to do that since on-line gambling is illegal in Phila.

This is nothing new for the Inquirer. Try watching Daily News Live (5-6:30 PM EST every day on Comcast Sportsnet) where we get Vegas Vic's top college and pro picks from Las Vegas (sponsored by Olympic with the website prominently advertised on the screen) with lines and plays from Vegas Vic.

I actually don't mind the spots...this is Philly and it may surprise people to know once in awhile someone in this city might "log on" and place a wager on a sporting event (now and again). Though most of the time we're 100 percent law abiding citizens like every other city in our great country.
