Celtics over 53.5 (-105), 1*
Hornets under 33.5 (-120), 1*- There are 34.5's out there, but the only ones I have access to carry -160 juice.
Bulls over 41.5 (-125), 1*
Pistons under 29.5 (+100), 1*
Bucks over 52.5 (-105), 1*
Pelicans under 45.5 (-110), 1*
Magic under 27.5 (-110), 1*
Suns over 52.5 (+105), 1*

Suns to win the West (+500), 1*
Suns to win the NBA Finals (+1200), .5*
Celtics to win the NBA Finals (+600), .5*
Bucks to win the NBA Finals (+800), .5*
76ers to win the NBA Finals (+1500), .5*
Jalen Brunson to win Most Improved Player Award (+2500), .5*

All the above bets are currently available at DK or FD. I'm riding with the Suns from the west. It is tough to repeat and I think Golden State is going to hit a wall. I could see some of their older somewhat injury prone players missing some time. I certainly can't trust the Clippers who have multiple players that could tap out at any time. It is now or never for the Suns. They have the band back together for one more run. Paul is 37, you have to believe this is his last best chance to get that elusive ring. Phoenix will absolutely add to their bench at the deadline and/or in the buyout market. I think they will be there in the end.

I feel like the top three in the East are pretty even, so I threw a half unit on each team. The Celtics and Bucks, who have represented the East the past two seasons, are absolutely good enough to get back. Middleton will be back for Milwaukee, who like Phoenix, brought pretty much their entire team back with the addition of Joe Ingles. The Celtics will have Robert Williams back by the start of the new year and added Malcolm Brogdon who will have a shot to win 6th man of the year if he stays healthy. Boston isn't going anywhere as their young talent is just starting to enter their prime. The Sixers also made a couple of nice additions to lengthen their roster by signing DeAnthony Melton and PJ Tucker. Embiid showed last season how dominant he can be over the course of the season if he stays healthy. That's really the biggest question mark with this team. While they don't have to worry about Ben Simmons anymore, Embiid is still an injury concern and Harden is a conditioning concern. If those two stay on the court and take it seriously, Philly is going to be a tough out this season.

I will update tomorrow if I have any action on either game.

Marcus Smart under 4.5 assists (-105), 1*

Playing a hunch here. No easy lobs to Williams tonight. I think there is going to be an acclimation period on both sides, which is one reason I like the game under. The Celtics need to figure out how the pieces fit with Brogdon, Griffin and Hauser. Sixers will be mixing in Tucker and Melton. Back to Smart, I don’t think he will be the assist guy for my Celtics.

DeAndre Ayton to record a double double (-110), 1*
Blazers +3 (-110), 2*

The Blazers are a number play. I think Portland and Sacramento’s rosters are even without Keegan Murray for the Kings. That doesn’t mean I’m going to win the bet, but it does mean I’m happy to take the points.

Brutal night. As soon as the Magic found a way to not cover the spread, I knew it was going to be a long night. I am considering two others, but this is it for now. Good luck!

Anything 219 or better is fine for the under. One thing about last nights games that I want to mention. Last night was the second straight game where Harden came up one rebound short of a triple double. He had 7 rebounds 2 min into the third quarter when I checked the box score. Ended up with nine. The point is I think there is value right now on Harden to record a triple double, especially against lesser teams like the Pacers and Spurs. Anything 6/1 or better against bad or middling teams seems like a good bet.
