Florida made a statement in game two. I expect that to carry over to game three. Look how the road teams did yesterday who were tied 1-1. No reason to afraid of being the road team. Home ice advantage matters in hockey, but not as much as other sports. I will update later on if necessary. GL!

I need to tighten things up a little bit. It has been all or nothing the last few days. I might add a play or two tomorrow. GL!

Rangers -1.5 (+200), 1*

I am putting my money where my mouth is with the Rangers. I liked them to win the series, I bet the series price twice. I still believe in them so I have to bet this number.

I might bet one game later, not sure yet. Good luck!

I was wrong about the Rangers. Their defense and goaltending got shredded in Pittsburgh. The series isn’t over yet, but I’m not optimistic. They needed to win game one and hold serve at home, which they didn’t do. I have been absolutely horrible betting the Rangers and Panthers series, which is why I’m in this playoff hole. I’ll update later with anything for tonight.

McDavid over 0.5 power play points (+115), 1*

Always happy to have a series bet on the team playing against Toronto in game seven. That puts my series bets at 1-1 with the Rangers pending, which is the most important one. I have two separate bets on the Rangers. The decision tomorrow will be whether to hedge a little bit on the Penguins money line.

McDavid is the best player in the league and I expect him to contribute in some way tonight. If you prefer anytime goalscorer at -110, I think that is fine too. I am deciding to forego a 5 on 5 goal in order to win with an assist or a goal on the power play. I am 2-1 betting the Kings in this series and have cashed a couple nice prices. Edmonton is the more talented team, but they have had postseason struggles just like Toronto. The Kings feel live tonight. Good luck!

Penguins/Rangers under 6 (EV), 1*
Stars ML (+185), 2*
Stars/Flames under 5 (+115), 1*

All three game sevens went under yesterday rather easily. The only game that got close was the Bruins and that was due to a goal with 20 seconds left. I'm going to follow the trend in both games today and see if it pays off. I still haven't decided if I want to hedge and put a unit on the Penguins money line. It is the safest thing to do, yet I feel strongly that the Rangers will win. I will update later on.

Lightning/Panthers over 6.5 (-120), 2*
Blues/Avalanche over 7 (+104), 2*

Series Bets

Hurricanes -1.5 games (+110), 2*
Hurricanes + Flames Parlay (+130), 2*
Lightning (+150), 2*

I really believe the Hurricanes are a bad matchup for the Rangers based on what I just saw in the first round. Carolina is going to be tough 5 on 5 and they had a strong penalty kill in the regular season. Apparently Carolina is a very tough place to play and I don’t think the Rangers are good enough to break through on the road. I respect the Rangers and I think they could win the Stanley Cup next year with a couple improvements. Shesterkin could absolutely steal a game or two and the Rangers have the advantage in net. I don’t like anything else for them in this series and I think this one goes no longer then six games.

Real quick on the other two series. I think the Lightning are live again as dogs like they were in the first round. They have the championship pedigree and the travel will be much easier for them this round. I know Florida was a wagon this season, but Tampa can expose their defense.

I think Calgary is going to roll this round. I feel like they have a lot of confidence after pulling out game 7 in OT against Dallas. They needed that to really believe that they could go all the way. Big step up in class here for Edmonton. I like Calgary.

Blues ML (+170), 2*- Live Line

I was going back and forth between betting the Blues in game one and betting them to win the series. I know if they lose tonight, I could get a better series price. But I don't really think they can win four of six games against Colorado. It seems much more imperative to the Blues that they win tonight and build some confidence. Colorado can lose tonight and there belief won't waver. I bet the Blues at +180 before the game, but I didn't post it on time so I will post now with the live line.

I’m really struggling in the playoffs. I need to reassess. Only thing that went right last night was Tampa winning. I’m not sure if I will play anything tonight.

Oilers ML (+150), 2*

Love the Hurricanes at home and in this series. I touched on that yesterday. I like the Flames for the series, but I think the Oilers can steal one early in the series. The Blues almost got it done in Colorado last night. Edmonton is going to win a couple games in this series in my opinion. I think one will be tonight.
