Game starts in a few minutes. There is some lineup shuffling that could affect the offense a bit. Each team is getting a rotation player back who hasn’t played in a while. Bridges for Charlotte and Williams for the Bulls. Sometimes it takes a game or two to work guys back into the rotation and get them comfortable as well as the team getting comfortable. Vucevic is out with an illness which is good for the under. He’s a good defensive player who is a lousy defender.

Ayton and Rob Williams are out for Portland. The Blazers should have actually been well equipped to defend Wemby, as their poorly constructed roster has three centers. Without those two guys, they are starting Jabari Walker at center. Clingan is returning, however he is on a minutes restriction. Clingan doesn’t have the athleticism and Walker doesn’t have the size to defend Wemby. Give me the Spurs.

I don’t have much time to look at betting lines or props tonight. I have my work holiday party that’s about to start. I might add a couple late games once I get out of there if I have time and there’s anything else I think is worth a bet. GL

I will add a few more tomorrow depending on availability. I plan to bet Milwaukee against the Wizards. Probably should have bet Cleveland today. This was a letdown spot for the Bucks after winning the NBA Cup. They can bounce back tomorrow against a bad team. I want to know who is playing for the Bucks so I can get a fair line. Lillard sat out today. Giannis and Middleton could rest tomorrow, especially Middleton. I also want to bet the Celtics in a rematch with Chicago after the Bulls upset them last night. There are a couple important Celtics players who are questionable, so I have to wait on that too.

I am still monitoring the Bucks. Middleton is going to play, but Giannis is questionable with “back spasms.” I would like to bet Milwaukee in this game. I don’t know if I can do that without Giannis and Dame.

I was on the fence about Miami once I saw Butler is out with the illness that caused him to leave last night’s game. However, Suggs just got downgraded to questionable for Orlando. If he doesn’t play, that’s almost 70 combined points on the bench between him, Banchero and Wagner. At best for Orlando, he will be playing at less then 100%. I think Miami has enough talent to win this game and should probably be favored if Suggs is out. I like them either way and will bet them now.

Bad second half from the Kings. Two nights in a row they stunk in the second half. There are three games I’m monitoring tomorrow. If Lamelo Ball and to a lesser extent Tre Mann play tomorrow, I will bet Charlotte against Houston. I also am interested in playing against Denver and Indiana who will be playing the second of a back to back. Indiana is playing at Golden State. Denver is hosting Phoenix, and the Nuggets needed overtime to beat New Orleans today. I will wait until we know who is actually playing before I make any bets.
