Liberty +1.5 (-115), 3*

Really like this play tonight. New York has been playing really well. They have picked up their pace lately and are shooting more threes. The increased tempo has really helped their game offensively. The Liberty are coming off a nice win over a very good Sun team two nights ago. The Dream aren’t bad, they just are underwhelming. Their two best win’s are against Dallas who is 9-9. In my opinion, we have NY who is starting to gel and could contend for a title this year if they keep improving. And we have Atlanta who will be a playoff team, but aren’t good enough to challenge the iron of the league.

Futures

Mystics to win the WNBA championship (+1500), .5*
Liberty to win the WNBA championship (+3500), .5*

Nice win with the Liberty last night. Glad to cash in on a big play. I'm adding these two futures to my portfolio along with the Sun and (unfortunately) the Sparks. I basically want a few teams who I think can win other then Vegas. The Aces are around even money to win the title which is way too short. However, that presents good value on some of these other teams who are good enough to compete. Della Donne is Washington's best player and she has been in and out this year in an attempt to get her fully healthy and keep her fully healthy. If she is in a good place physically when the postseason rolls around, 15/1 will be a great number.

I'm clearly a believer in the Liberty right now. The price is 35/1 for a reason, as there are 4-5 teams who are probably better. But New York can continue to improve and I think they will be motivated to add in the next three weeks before the trade deadline. Ionescu is a triple-double threat every night. Howard and Johannes are good players who compliment Ionescu well. Additionally, New York is doing all this with two important players sidelined until August with injuries in Laney and Willoughby and another contributor out at the moment with a concussion. I think the odds on NY are going to continue to go down as they get healthy and show bettors/oddsmakers that they are much better then their early season struggles indicated.

I will update if I have any action tonight.

Mercury/Fever over 169 (-110), 2*

This total is steaming up. 166 was available at some shops this morning, so I’m not getting the best of it. With that being said, Indiana has played the same way all year. Play up-tempo and try to outscore teams. Phoenix just lost their best player, Tina Charles. She didn’t want to be there anymore with the team struggling and asked to be released. Phoenix complied and won their first game without her Saturday night. The problem for them is, they already don’t have Griner. And their front court depth is very weak behind Turner, who isn’t much of a scorer. They are going to start playing a really small lineup with only one big, which means they will be looking to get up and down the court more. Phoenix scored 83 Saturday night, which is a sign of things to come. GL!

Storm -6.5 (-115), 2*- First Half

Missed the 2-0 sweep Sunday night by a half point on the over. Back to back missed free throws with 1:39 left in the game really hurt. I am playing this first half as opposed to the full game. I expect Seattle to get out to a great start and have a comfortable lead at the half. I don't want to ride the roller coaster of the bench players maintaining a double digit lead in garbage time. Sky -9 (-110), 2*
Mystics/Sparks under 159.5 (-110), 2*

Second half of the season begins tonight. Or at least the post all-star break portion of the season. Teams are going to get some important players back soon from injury or in Napheesa Collier’s case, back from maternity leave. The trade deadline is Friday. This is the time of the season where I really look to dial in and make a nice profit. Good luck!
