Liberty +12.5 (-110), 2*

I’m considering the Fever tonight. This is the first game after their coach got fired. Usually a team gets a boost from hearing a new voice. Their defense is what scares me. Indiana could score 87 tonight, but if they give up 95 that doesn’t really matter. I will update if I add anything else. GL

I did not have any inside info on the Covid situation with the Storm. The line has dropped 4 points now that Bird and two others are out. I wouldn’t mind taking the Liberty at 8.5 if I had not bet the game already.

Sky +3.5 (-110), 2*
Sky/Aces over 171 (-105), 2*

The Liberty covered every number last night so the spread movement didn’t matter. Chicago and Vegas are two skilled teams who play with good pace. The total has already gone up a couple points and I agree with that move. Chicago is a good team and are playing at home. They should be live this afternoon. GL!

Unfortunate to lose both bets Saturday. The Sky shot 5-31 from three which is on the extreme low end of their expected outcome. Had they just shot 30%, I’m 1-1 at best. I’m sure I’ll get lucky on an under in the near future where I benefit from a dismal shooting performance like that.

As for tonight, I think the Fever can ride the momentum from having a new coach for another game. I’m not saying they win, but I think they can keep it close.

Sun get a rematch with Vegas tonight. Seems like a logical bounce back spot. The Sun had a similar situation a couple weeks ago with the Fever. They played Indiana at home, won the game, but didn’t cover. Then they won two nights later and covered the spread. I think CT uses the prior game as a learning tool and comes out on top. GL

Storm -6.5 (-110), 2*

I might have one more later. I also am going to go through the WNBA season tonight and look into these games where teams play each other twice in a row. I feel like there is a trend developing in game two, but I need to dig deeper before I declare anything or start blindly betting something.

Unfortunate circumstances with the Storm bet. The word all day was Sue Bird would be back for the game and the line was moving accordingly. She ended up not playing and the Storm's offense was out of sorts all game.

I will have a bet or two tomorrow. I was going to bet the under in the Liberty game, but it has dropped several points already and I'm not sure if I want to get involved at the current number.

Liberty/Lynx under 156 (-110), 2*
Storm -2.5 (-110), 2*
Storm/Sun under 156.5 (-110), 2*

As far as I know, Sue Bird is coming back today. Also, the Sun are playing their fourth game this week on the west coast. It is also their third game in four days and the final game of the road trip. The Sun have been an over machine, however I expect that to change as the season wears on.

I looked into that trend I was telling you about and I think I found something when teams play each other two straight times. The research shows that when two teams play each other in the same venue in two straight games, the over is the play in game two. The over has been the right way to go in this two game spot overall, but especially in game two. Let's see what happens today.

That trend came through again. We have another spot tomorrow night. The Mercury and Mystics played in Washington last night. They play in Washington again tomorrow night. With or without Della Donne, this is an over. She didn’t play last night and the game went over easily before OT. I will update tomorrow with the number I am betting.

Maybe this number goes down, but I don’t see it. Like I said the other day, these two teams hit the over on Sunday before the game went to overtime. The total closed at 160.5 on Sunday and opened several points higher for the rematch. Let’s see if the trend comes through again. Good luck!

Trend finally lost. I didn’t have a good feeling when the total was dropping. We’ll try another over tonight. Good luck.

New York has been playing better lately despite three of their rotation players being sidelined right now. Seattle has been on a long road trip and can be had today. Sorry for the late post, I didn't realize the game tips at noon. I will update if necessary in a bit. GL!
