Does Bet On Sports deal dual lines?

I ask because after they told me I can not wager on the internet anymore and have to phone in my bets, nearly all the time when I ask for a game they tell me a different price then I am seeing on the internet when I'm logged into my account. Are they dealing dual lines, or just changing the line on me when I phone knowing which side I want to bet.

If you believe that, why not just ask for the GAME LINE and not one particular side or the other?

Ask for the other side then once you get the line, change your bet to your side and you will not only piss them off but you may get a better line. Try it once and see what happens.

I do always just ask for the game, never which side. Right now I see atlanta braves +101 on the internet, but when i asked for the braves padres game on the phone the guy gave me a different price.

I think I read that on this forum before that they do deal dial lines...if they do then there is really nothing you can do about it. If you always play the dogs or favs then they can adjust the line that way...JMO

A two part answer ...

1. Firstly, yes, there are several people that I know who are dealt a second (sharp) lineset from BOS, myself included. These "sharp" lines will show up in your account after you log in, and are often different from what the "$5 square bettor" sees when he logs into his account.

2. Having said that, if you are ALSO a phone-only customer, they will often change the line from what you're seeing on the "sharp" lineset, so it will end up being a "double-whammy" .... not only will you be dealt the "sharp" lineset, but they will also often change the line on you when you phone in, so that you don't even get what is showing on the "sharp" lineset.

Regarding the line change on phone-ins, they don't change the lines based on whether they think you're going to bet fav/underdog/over/under/etc. ...... they change the line if the line that you see on the 'net is scalpable or almost scalpable ... if that's the case, they will change the line on you and quote you a "middle-of-the-road" line on the game.
