Boring Basketball

Am I just getting old or is this basketball boring compared to "back in the day"?
I find the GS/Cavs series B-O-R-I-N-G and not just because of games not that close. Seems to me that the game is all about 3's now and not much more. I may have to go watch an old 80's tape of basketball and see if it was so much better like I think or if I am being an old man thinking everything was better in the old days. Of course I know 3's are much more a part of the game, but even that aside, wasn't the basketball just better?

Was BIG fan in 80's and early 90's...pretty much stopped watching in the mid 90's and jumped back in around 2007.

I think its the rules/refs of the era. Not so much the players (which are more athletic) too many phantom and ghosts fouls called for the superstars

I've always watched the NBA straight through the years. The worst years were the low scoring muck it up years from probably 15 years ago. When Riley was coaching the Knicks, The Pistons with the Wallaces, the Heat with Mourning. Even the Bulls-Jazz finals, etc. All those years kinda sucked.
