Here in Australia there is virtually no books left at -2.5 all in to -2 & i saw one of the bigger ones is -1 this morning.....I fully expected this as some of the sharps have just been sitting back waiting to see the best spot they can get Seattle & i suspect most figure they won't do better than -2.5....Vegas clearly doesn't want to hang Seattle +3 out there as they are happy to take the flood of Denver money at -2....to me this is as clear cut an example of the bookies picking their own side as i have seen in recent times.

This game mirrors the SF/Car game where every "sharp" and supposedly vegas/books were all leaning to Carolina, especially at 1/2 time with SF being up by 4, line was Car -3 -115, ridiculous. Boy were they dead wrong.

The public wants Denver, the NFL likely wants Denver, some sharp money is on both sides, but the books definitely have chosen Seattle. The smartest guys concerning sports betting work for the books, especially the large ones, and they are willing to take all the Denver action someone might want at less than a FG. They have spoken.

Haha like you are some expert from Portland who knows wtf the books need. Sharp money this and that, I have a sharp object for you.

Like I said in another thread, the betting public is on Seattle more than you think...

I must have asked a hundred family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors over the last week. Would you take Seattle +3 points to win a bet and one person said yes.

A lot of Seahawk fans here in Portland, and even they are hesitant to bet against Peyton Manning. Denver is the mush team of the decade. The books DID NOT make a mistake opening at Seattle -1 or keeping this below a FG. There's still 5 hours until kickoff and this line could move toward Seattle +1 or pick- although not likely.

my thinking is the NFL would like a good game and Seattle to win. This will mean Denver loses(duh) and Peyton does not retire after a sb win this year. He will be back and NFLwill make more because of it.
Just something I have been thinking about.
