Just hoping and wishing the Broncos can somehow get there. I really can't see them beating a top SEC team but they got by Oklahoma and if they go undefeated and no one else does, I think they deserve a shot. They killed a Bowling Green team that beat a top 25 squad and dominated Oregon on the road. If they win out and no one else go undefeated, I think they deserve a shot.

Do you think Hawaii should have gotten a shot at the title last year? I don't think anyone wants to see a repeat of what happened in the Sugar Bowl, zzzzzzzzzzzzz...

No. Hawaii played no one. Boise was in a down year. Hawaii also barely won like 5 games and was not that good of a team.

Boise State isn't Hawaii. The Broncos are sound passing and running and aren't a one-dimensional offense. They also play strong defense although better talent IE Oklahoma can neutralize that easily. Boise versus a top team means lots of scoring and I think Boise deserves a shot if they run the table and look good doing it.

PS, although no one wants to see a repeat of the Sugar Bowl, millions would love to see a repeat of the Fiesta Bowl.

Boise can beat the top teams from every conference except maybe the SEC in my opinion

I think Boise would definitely deserve to be large underdogs. I just think after they've now beaten top teams in Oklahoma and Oregon (both away from home where they almost never lose) that if they are the only NCAA D1 team to go undefeated that they deserve the shot.

unless you have an SEC team who have 1 loss-if it is another conference with the 1 loss i agree Boise should go in front of them

How about they just pencil in right now the SEC champ vs the Big 12 champ for the title game. Nobody else need apply. The 4th place teams in both leagues would beat Boise by at least 3 TDs

Didn't Boise beat the Big 12 champ like 2 years ago?

this year it should be the big12 vs the sec....its clearly obvious the sec is the best conf by miles...and the next deepest is without a doubt the big12...OU/MIZZ are both legit top5 teams....with Texas a top10....NEB/TT/OKst/KU all quality teams capable of springing an upset here n there...

the darkhorse teams who could run the table are wake (and if they do they should go) BYU/utah sofla and Boise...

Boise St is a good team, but not even close to championship caliber imo. On a normal day USC, Ohio St, Texas, OU, UGA, UF, and LSU would all absolutely destroy them. They can play with and beat most ranked teams, but not the top ones. They're only the third best non-BCS team also. I think BYU and Utah have better teams this year.

Boise needs to play some of the big boys week in and week out to be considered for a MNC game.

Wish it were that easy. Most of the big boys don't want to play us. If we beat them, their season is tanked. If we lose to them, they only beat a WAC school. Hard to get top competition to play, especially in Boise.

The BYU/Utah game might be the game of the year, at least for Non-BCS teams. Both teams should be undefeated, so it'll be a huge game. Can't wait until December.

I think BYU loses to Utah or TCU and Utah loses @Wyoming.

That's quite the upset picking Wyoming over Utah. I'm a homer, but I think Utah rolls in that game. Hadn't really checked before, but BYU has the tougher schedule, still having to play at TCU, at Air Force, and then finishing the season at Utah in the Holy War. Everyone seems to be penciling BYU in as the non-BCS team to go to a big time bowl, but I like Utah more to run the table.

Utah schooled em last year but Wyoming is a very tough place to travel to (ask BSU the year they went undefeated) and the last time Utah went there they lost 15-31.

Wyoming has a very nice and balanced offense this season that can score points as well as a defense that always does well against the run. I think that game will be very tough for the Utes.

I'm sick of these MWC or Wac teams claiming they deserve title shots or BCS games. If Boise St were to play in any of the major conf they would lose atleast 2 games in league play. I don't mean to single out BSU because I should also add BYU or Fresno St. None of them deserve it. All these teams need to do is squeak through there bullcrap conf schedule and focus on there 1 big non conf game and there set. It's nonsense.

It sickens me how much everyone loves the SEC. The Big XII is a superior conference this year. Noone will agree, but QB's= better, and not to mention we have 4 in the top 10 and now more than likely the #1 team in the nation!!

You just things I would not disagree with. Big 12 is very strong this season.
