covered against a SEC Team. He is 0-6 ATS (3-3 SU).

Plus, Oklahoma is usually overvalued in the future odds each year which makes them a bad play IMO. Sure, they could win it, but I don't see any value with them. The risk outweighs the reward IMO.

I'm not hating on Stoops or OU. In fact, I had Adrian Peterson to win NFL Rookie of the Year (one of the easiest future plays I ever had with Calvin Johnson as the favorite and taking up value despite not having a QB to throw him the ball at the time where Peterson would get the ball since he is a RB)

if you make it to the title game "Big Game Bob" then that is a good possibility since it seems like a SEC Team is usually there. Thus, Oklahoma to win it all is a tough proposition for me. They are capable of winning the title, but I don't see any value in them.

Until Stoops proves otherwise, I can't disagree with anything you said.

Most programs would take Stoops in a heartbeat. Winning a title early in his Head Coaching career has led to even higher expectations over the years, but he is still one of the best in the game.

One thing I don't blame Stoops for is losing to teams like USC, Florida and LSU in OU's bcs title games. They were just better teams than OU. Everybody blames the coach for those kinds of losses, but what can you do?

They were also basically home games for Florida and LSU. Which again brings up the point that the NC game needs to be on a much more neutral field than one of the "bowl" venues.

OU is far more talented than most of the teams in there conference. When they step up and play the SEC they seem to get out played. They are not used matching up to superior talent

Yep, I think it is when they match up against SEC defenses that are more physical and have more speed than their usual Big 12 Opposition. I remember reading a comment from C.J.Spiller in his NFL rookie year.
He said the biggest difference between college and pros was that he was amazed at the speed of 300 pound defensive lineman in the NFL that shocked him. The SEC generates alot of these type of guys.

Most people don't realize just what kind of beasts those guys are. 300lb def end that runs a 4.8 is down right scarry.

I'm not sure OU got outplayed as much as they just didn't have enough horses up front to get it done in the end. In their most recent BCS title game against Florida, I don't think Stoops could have had his team any more ready for that game. Florida just had a little more in the end. But it was still a close game...Same with LSU. I still wish Jason White hadn't overthrown his WR in the endzone from the 10 yard line to tie the game in the closing minutes. But that's football. Like SoonerBS said, it didn't help that both of those games were played in those teams backyards.. One thing did tell me something about OU from those games. They can compete against the best of the SEC. I still have good memories of OU beating Bama twice back in the early 2000's. Both of those games were pretty darn good. Although those weren't Bama's best teams by a long shot. It was still nice beating Bama in their own backyard.

Yep, it even worked against another Big 12 team in Texas when Alabama beat them for the title. Colt McCoy didn't last that long in the game after Dareus crushed him on a play early in the game.

I think if OU ever joined the SEC, their level of play would go up. It would probably give them a better chance at winning the BCS title since the team from the best conference usually wins that game. But of course it would be much harder to get there as opposed to the Big 12.

For the record Stoops stands at 129-31 (81%) and his record against opponents ranked in the AP top 25 is 41-16 (72%). Stoops also reached 100 victories faster than any coach in college football history.
