The Flyers are steller this season 17-3-6-1, and have a descent road record of 5-3-4-1; albeit nothing compared to their 12-0-2 home record. Nevertheless the Flyers are playing great hockey 7-1-2 in their last 10 games and are 2-0-2 lifetime vs the BlueJackets. It all seems that Hackett and the Flyers should win an easy game versus the Jackets.

However, in all honesty the BlueJackets are a much better team than there record illustrates (8-14-3-1). On home ice Columbus has a winning record of 8-5-2. The BlueJackets have really struggled winning games since they only have 3 wins in their last 10 games, and have lost 4 out of their last 5 games.

The BlueJackets lost 5-1 vs the Avalanche on Dec 6 - and have over 3 days to prepare for todays' tilt. All the while the Flyers had only 1 day to prepare for this game after their 3-2 victory vs the Canadiens on Dec 8.

Gotta go with the HUGE and JUICY underdog here. The Jackets are a much better team at home, and will definitely come out and play against a formidable opponent such as the Flyers. This could possibly be a 'letdown' type of a game for the Flyers as they might possibly 'overlook' the BlueJackets and might not match the enegery of the Jackets young players. Also like the goaltending in net favoring Marc Denis over Jeff Hackett.

Ivan Best of Luck with the play - I have some reservations re. goaltending in this game;
Marc Denis 1 - 4 with 17 goals allowed last 5 starts.
Jeff Hackett 4 - 0 - 1 with 8 goals allowed last 5 starts.

Ivan - Didn't see this earlier. I am on it as well. Looks like a good spot for the Jackets. Hope we get this one, it will pay nicely.

Great game, I watched all of it. The Jackets made a late change in goal with Braithwaite, he stood on his head, giving up a goal in the last 2 minutes of the 3rd "only". OT was one big Flyer power play, two minors in a row on Columbus. What a shooting gallery, but the Flyers could'nt put one in the net, Braithwaite made 38 saves, 8 in OT. Some action.
