but it says in the email from coinbase "It may take up to 6 network confirmations before your Bitcoin is available to trade."

Dexter not sure who you are using. That is correct it takes six to eight confirmations. You can contact them via live chat and then can provide a link that will show you where it is in the process. Now going from your bit coin wallet to you takes a few days depending on how you take it out. Bol

5 dimes live chat will provide timeline of the checks it is going through. One thing I don't like is support at coin base. I trust Great Britain but you have to call in. The email support lacks I think

You guys need to relax. Funds won't show up until you get multiple confirmations from the mining community. The network has been especially busy lately, but the #1 feature of Bitcoin is the transparency and confirmation of funds sent/received.

Post the address you sent the funds to, and we can all watch the confirmation process.

Bottom line: be patient.

Also, do not leave your coin on an exchange like Coinbase long term. Coinbase and others do not disclose your private keys, therefore technically they own your coin and can be confusing with upcoming Bitcoin attacks/forks.

Consider moving off the exchanges to your own wallet.

i understand how it works but as dexter is aware, anxiety sets in when you have $ hanging and no live support. There is no live support at coin base or usi where I buy mining contracts.
