Hello,
I want to invest in bitcoin. Is it still worth investing in this cryptocurrency? Please share your opinions, thank you.

I own Bitcoin. It is the big dog on the street. Your days of making a big score on Bitcoin are gone.

If you want to do that you need to look at some other coins.

I own Ethereum, Chainlink and I have been buying up ALGO (started by some MIT guys...if you go to MIT you are smart so I will take some chances with that). My son and his buddies are buying BAT, You use their web browser and you get free coins,

I think you can still make money off BTC however its smarter to just move into offshore accounts than doing tons of transactions with US banks....BTC could shoot up between 100,000-200,000 so its still a play in my book.

I also think it hits 100k this year.

There are plenty of BTC funds out there to buy. Personally I'm hoping for another significant dip, so I can get back into MARA. Trading at $51 right now.

Buy Alts for next few months. Dump gains into BTC. I really feel BTC will be a nice asset to have years down the road. $115k EOY was my thoughts January. Will not be shocked if I saw a 200k. And will not be shocked if it’s 500k in 4 years. I’m pretty conservative with stuff also. Plenty of folks list astronomical prices that I just don’t get for some projects. But BTC should be more than okay years down the road imo.

I think a few of the bigger projects that are stable can ride out bearish times while also making bigger gains than BTC. (Aave, ETH, Dot, Link) seem solid over the next several years imo.

Numerai is a project I got a bag of along with DOT January. It’s somewhat risky tbh and the community is a bit dead. But it’s unique and has a low supply and very low market cap. They burn tokens on their predictions concept. And held a data prediction tournament last week.

A London based firm is adding them as a new asset to buy. And I can’t confirm but Grayscale had them listed as one of the possible new trust additions the other month. It wasn’t added but there have been some suspicion on some larger buys I have seen past 2 weeks. It was around $39 few weeks ago and trying to break a $74 resistance wall currently. If Grayscale breaks news they list it then it will run for sure. Solid short term buy but the more risky long hold for few years could really payoff. I believe Grayscale trust are 40 billion currently. So they could push NMR with its 300 million Mcap up real quick.

Anyone have thoughts on XRP? I have some buddies that are very bullish on it, but in general the sentiment on XRP seems negative.

BTC is down about $10k from it's high last week, good time to 'buy the dip'.

I bought more this weekend.

The more I read the more I like cryptos. They will be a way to do things faster, better and cheaper. Anything that can do that will grow and become more valuable.

Cryptos are like in the first inning of a baseball game. There is plenty of time to get in but so far there is just a small percentage of the population that has joined the crypto world. The longer you wait the more you will regret it.

Cryptos are coming. The government is asking about it on your taxes. Big investors are entering into the game and not just Tesla. It is here to stay.

Just for a reference point: YTD date gold -7 percent, Bitcoin +118%.

My biggest positions are BTC, Ethereum, Chainlink and Algo (ALgo pays a 6% fee.....good luck finding bank paying that). There are some others I want to purchase more of.

I have 100% turned my opinion of Cryptocurrency. I'm betting big on MobileCoin.

MobileCoin has raised $66 million in Series B funding from a long list of investors. Among them is Alameda Research, Berggruen Holdings, BlockTower Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Marc Benioff’s TIME Ventures, Vy Capital and earlier backers General Catalyst and Future Ventures; including a $30 million round led by Binance Labs back in 2018. According to founder and CEO Joshua Goldbard, the newest round values the outfit at $1.066 billion.

I have BTC, ETH, LINK and Algo.

I was looking at cryptos over the weekend thinking I need to keep buying (already do but buy even more). Of all of the ones I own the one I think could be the biggest winner is Algo. Then I saw it was up 40% today. Maybe a little dumb luck but EL Salvador is using it and they are the first country. SO that is promising

I was a Ethereum honker for a long time - now I'm actually out of the asset and only exposure is thru ETHE in my 401k. The network is just so unusable at the moment until Proof of Stake upgrade happens. Which gives me concern about the decentralization since it probably wont be mom and pop staking for transaction processing. I tried to get into the CryptoDad NFT drop this week and it was 0.07 ETH to Mint (~$175 USD at the time) and the Gas fees we had to pay miners just to actually Mint was 0.08 ETH

It cost MORE money to actually USE the platform than for the product we were trying to purchase.

I have since moved onto Solana and the difference is absolutely insane. Nearly instant transaction confirmations with Proof of History, massive amounts of institutional investment backing and the cost of a transaction has been 0.00025 SOL (Fractions of a penny) I'm able to stake in non-diverging asset pools for nearly 30% APR without running the risk of impermanent loss. Salute the concept and have nothing but awe and respect for the doors Vitalik and Ethereum have created, but damn is it hard to ever go back to try and use ERC-20 chain here on out.

I think it will be right to make a decision about investing in cryptocurrency after you study this issue well. I think that you should learn more information about crypto trading from experts in this, who were really able to make money on the exchange. Here https://www.cryptowisser.com/the-fall-of-btc-and-its-impact-on-mining-profitability/https://www.cryptowisser.com/the-fall-of-btc-and-its-impact-on-mining-profitability/ it seems to me that you could find a lot of interesting information for you and better understand your prospects in this.

Look, if I had the opportunity, I would throw all my savings into this investment. Apparently bitcoin could break the $100,000 mark by the end of the year.

I keep buying a couple thousand at a time. Cryptos may pose the biggest growth potential in the market. Stocks having been going up for a significant time period. I just keep thinking that train is about to stop. On the flip side I think cryptos have way more upside.

I added a couple new ones recently for various reasons. One of the main reasons is I want some smaller market caps that if they hit they have some larger upside potential. I was in Algorand when it wasn't even a top 100 market cap and now it is in the top 20. I think that Algorand has potential to move into the top 10.

COTI & Band Protocol these are both in the 150 to 200 market cap size. Would be nice scores if they got into the top 50.

I'm up to about $25k in crypto (most BTC, ETC, LINK, and LTC). I've also got another $75K or so in blockfi's interest account, earning ~8% interest. I like it and will keep putting a little bit in on the dips. Voyager offers 9% in their interest accounts on USD.

Bitcoin ETFs are all but go Monday. GBTC will most likely convert from trust to ETF. Not financial advice, but you do your own assumption now that trillions in 401k, Pensions, Roths can now buy it. If you want a risky moonshot, SLRS is mine. Wait until BTC and ETH have their run up
