Billy and I are just not seeing eye to eye here lately, so I figured I would put a little distance in between for the time being. You know, it happens. No biggy. It sure don’t take ‘em long after to realize the old man had it after all though don’t it. Not only that, but it is that time of year, the time to give. Given’ in general is good, whatever ya got, and boy I sure do goterr something here. This place looked as good as any other, and so it’s on, from the RX to across the world. Sure travels fast in this day n age. Now, we all know gamblers in particular have somewhat inflated ego’s, it is just in our make-up that way, but let’s just remember one thing so we end up with some extra cash to buy those gifts for your momma. What is that one thing you ask? Something you learned a long long time ago, but likely forget time to time. That is… Daddy knows best!!! Why such a big wager on a very disappointing Oklahoma team? I know that lemson loses B Watson, but OU QB Trevor Knight is Questionable with Head Injury issues. Unless you think that OU is really that good of a team, making them your biggest wager is certainly a very high risk. OU was lucky to win 8 games.
Duke is also a risky wager. They played a much easier schedule than Arizona State did. They also had the ACC Coastal Division all but wrapped up but could not win 2 out of 3 gaes at home to seal the deal. They have to be disappointed playing in El Paso instead of the Orange Bowl which they would have played in had they won the ACC Coastal.
I agree with the Oregon pick. The Ducks should roll in Paadena. Michigan State is up against it. Baylor either wins, or conceeds that the Committee was correct in leaving them out of the playoff mix.
