billy discusses more bullshit outside the game than in the game commentating. he's wearing me out on this pac12 tourney.

Walton: "What's the 4th law of learning?"
PlayByPlay guy: "What's the first?"

Nobody could possibly be more sick of him than his broadcast partner. Walton's been insulting him repeatedly and I don't think he's kidding.

Cracks me up so bad that I can barely handle it sometimes...it really helps to be high though, lol.

Walton is a breath of fresh air. We have enough straight laced, boring commentators.

Would you rather have Vitale screaming? I wouldn't.

He goes off the beaten path, but he still pays attention and gives astute analysis. Not only that, he's an all time great. Paasch doesn't mind the schtick at all, and plays along with it. His deadpan responses are classic.

he's a Jackass, maybe more irrelevant than Dook Vitale when it comes to providing insight and strategy pertaining to the game. Seriously, has he ever once broken down a play, broke up a play or talked about what sets are working and the different options off of them?

he's so damn brain dead, he actually thinks by saying "conference of champions" 25 times per game he's going to make the rest of us forget that was back in the 1960's, when the UCLA men had the talent disparity the UConn women enjoy today

although I do believe he has an audience, Dead Heads :)

Oh, he definitely doesn't provide any real insight about the game. But he is funny as hell.

Speaking of commentators. Have any of you watched a game commentated by Dan Dackich? He is fascinating to listen to. A great basketball mind.

he is awful. he is pompous and talks like he has some real insight on all these diff things, when in fact he is spouting nothing but nonsense. he is not funny either. unless you are laughing at him, you have a terrible sense of humor.

i won't watch a game or Ill mute it if he is on...

I had a big play on Thursday nite's late game (and lost). Nothing like losing money at 1230 in the morning listening to Walton!!

it sounds basically like they insult each other because they don't like each other. tough to give a 7 FOOTER any lip. Deadheads don't really like him anymore either, especially if they got stuck sitting behind him at a show, you can see anything. Nothing left to do but smile smile smile
