What 2 conferences have gotten more ridiculed than these? The last time the big ten was ripped like this was 2 years ago. What happened? I believe they went 5-2 or 6-1. I know Iowa lost for sure and can't remember any other losers. I am strongly thinking of playing all of the bowl teams from these conferences. I think you can get some good value. There are 11 teams in the bowls from these two conferences...I would be very surprised if they were not at minimum 6-5 ATS. Hit them all the same and then pound Pitt. They are getting some line value here, Utah is a great football team, they have been a covering machine all year, but the line is comparing Pitt to teams like BYU...no comparison. Pitt will keep it close and finish off a strong ATS bowl year for these 2 conferences! Good luck to all! Any and all comments are appreciated.

2-1 so far! Really don't like BC today, but might play it on principle. Still feel very strongly about the Big Ten teams remaining as well.

Kunie, that year the Big 10 went 6-2 in bowl games that year. Ohio St. won the national title over Miami. Minnesota beat the Hell out of Arkansas, Wisconsin beat a heavily favored Colorado team, Michigan beat on Florida, Michigan St. beat LSU, Northwestern beat a MAC team, while Penn St lost to Auburn 14-13 and Iowa got thumped by USC in the Orange Bowl.

No problem Kunie. Glad I can help you out there! I'm an OSU alumni. So I have a good memory for Big 10 athletics. :drink:

Stuck to my guns and played BC (against my better judgement I thought). 3-1 now...with the Big Ten power to play yet!

One heck of a theory Kunie. I hope it holds true for the rest of the Iowa game and Michigan. If these hit I may have to take Pitt just from this post. Good luck on your plays and Happy New Year.

Big East should not be bowling on New Year's Day

Big East:

Boston Coll. WON vs. a 6-5 ACC team
Connecticut WON vs MAC team with a broken handed QB
Pittsburgh
Rutgers No Bowl
Syracuse LOST by 38 to a 6-5 ACC team
Temple perennial dormat
West Virginia LOST by 10+ to an ACC team in a bowl AGAIN

If you are playing Pitt because you think this was a decent conference, you are asking for trouble. The Utah line should be 20

Big Ten really saved this theory and fortunately I had Utah on Saturday night! Looks like the Big Ten ATS was not as bad as everyone thought!
