Wofford ended Citadel's 11 game winning streak two days ago and also played a close one on the road against College of Charleston two days before that. They are due for a letdown here in this rivalery that is way more important to Furman. Furman players have revenge on their minds as they lost the first meeting in overtime. Both teams locked up their SoCon Tournament seeds and I don't see any reason why Wofford would be running up the score here. Last chance for Furman to get a road win in the regular season and it would be twice as sweet if it comes against their main conference rivals.

Tonight is Woffords last regular season game. They have been putting up some big numbers lately with 80+ points in two ball games prior to the 62-55 win over Citadel this weekend. Wofford hopes to be a spoiler in the upcoming SoCon Tourney in Chatanooga TN. The need another good win to give them the confidence they will need going into the Tourney. Wofford has a sophomore who has really steped up and averages 21 ppg and 6 rbs. Furman is a great school academically. My sister went there. They are just having a terrible year in Basketball. FWIW.

m.jackson played in 10 games this season and averaged 3 minutes per game and scored 0 points this season.

estepp averaged 8:30 minutes per game and 1.7 ppg.

not your usual senior day game...

beating furman at home is not a big confidence builder for wofford. they know they will face elon in the 1st round regardless of the result tonight. if any team needs a win for confidence purposes it is furman.

That is a good arguement and Wofford has played inconsistent numerous time this season. If Furman catches Wofford not hustling for loss balls, not getting back on D, thinking ahead to Elon, etc, then maybe they could pull an upset or in your case cover the 11. I went with Furman U 61 1/2 -110 earlier in the day. Anyway BOL to you.

When I went to Clemson in the late 1980's I dated a girl from Furman. She drove a Saab. She was so cool. I have always had a little extra special place in my heart for Furman. Nice people. Hope you get your cover.
