REPUBLICANS WOULD RATHER KILL KIDS THAN GIVE UP THEIR GUNS!

The murders from the Texas gun violence is now officially up to 19 young kids and 2 teachers SAD FACT: So far in 2022, 134 children age 11 and under have lost their lives to gun violence. Not counting the 19 today And the numerous others who have died by accidental shootings at home. Under the republican plan this will just get worse.

In texas , because of a high number of deaths from drunk drivers under 21 , they changed the drinking laws to minimum 21 but the same angry 18 yr old who is not permitted to drink is allowed to buy a military assault rifle or more on the day he turns 18 meanwhile the freedoms of women and the votes of minorities r stripped away in Texas.

Texas...where they can regulate a woman's uterus, but ANYONE can get a firearm. Insane...The one thing I’m unable to get my head around is that you guys don’t see the oh so obvious connection between the number of gun-killings and the number of guns.

Key difference between US and other countries is that US has more guns and weaker gun laws. As a result, US is the mass shooting capital of the world. More gun deaths are a predictable outcome of lack of political will to change and an under investment in prevention approaches that work in other countries.

Today US gun-homicides now stand at 8 times greater, per capita!, than the #1 rated country in the world [Canada]

The #1 rated country in the world [Canada] has very strict gun laws - NATION WIDE - and only 1/7th the gun violence per capita! They are OBVIOUSLY doing something far better than we are. Not perfect, but certainly WAY better! Whereas in the US it is virtually irrelevant how strict a city or state makes its own gun laws since the criminal element simply brings in the weapons and/or killers from out of state. This is not the case in Canada.
