Georgetown is going to get alot better down the stretch, they always start out a little risky but then get hot..........Monroe is going to blossom and Sapp, Freeman and Wright will come around with Summers continuing to contribute................

Georgetown is over rated. Ask JT3 he will tell you he is in semi rebuild mode. Wattad and Clark have been getting extensive mins in big east play in an effort to develop them for next season.

They are nto developing a bench for next year. They are developing it for the end of this year.

Gtown will be way way worse next year when and if Monroe and Summers go pro. Way worse. Whats the point of developing those 2 players for next year when you lose 2 first round draft picks.

Also, Cuse #4? Let me get this right Gtown overated but cuse #4. They look pretty similar to me... Cuse very average this year.

Marquette is good, but I think Notre Dame should able to get this at home, If Maclarney shoots well they win, its pretty simple......Against Uconn he was hot in the first half then died out and they fell, Harangody will get his but if they don't have Macalarney they will faulter most times, However I think at home chances are better that Mac makes those shots so You gotta like Notre Dame in this game. Also I didn't like Marquette couldn't run away from a terrible depaul team, also Marquette has lost to Tenn this year who really aren't that great. I think Notre Dame at home gets it done tonight, they will be very focused.

G'town will get better I promise you that, They need time in that offense.......Last two seasons in Feb and March Hoyas record is dead solid. Monroe is going to get better and Sapp will come alive, hes too good not too...........Also Freeeman will play better and I expect Wright to pick it up. They have three Mcdonald All-Americans with Freeman, Wright and Monroe, then Add Summers, and they are a good team who is just suffering from growing pains right now. They will be better than this. This team can go as far as the Elite IMO. That's the Ladder tho, They could also go out in the second round. I could also see this team winning the Big East Tournament

Pitt needs to play Uconn before u can really put that together...only reason they lost to Lville, even at Lville, was Blair getting into terrible foul trouble. Can't argue Pitt/CT/Lville top 3, just a matter of seeding. I think when it all shakes out will be NDU 4, Syr 5, Marq 6, WVU 7, Gtown 8

greenbacks, who is that in your avatar?

only decent list i see here, the rest are pretty horrendous just for the fact people have cuse 4 or 5. that is just silly and shows why people lose money. i would put notre dame behind both georgetown and syracuse though and maybe bump west virigina past marquette. marquette is nothing special, although I think they win tonight vs nd.

nd might be 8 or 9 this year in the big east. a lot of overrated big east teams IMO. it's a solid conferences because they have many decent teams, but only teams i think are even elite eight contenders are pitt, louisville and uconn. nobody is even CLOSE to those three.

1. pitt
2. louisville
3. uconn

t4. west virginia
t4. marquette
6. georgetown
7. syracuse
8. nd
9. nova
10. providence.

only the top 7 should make the tournament and only the top 4/5 will win a game in the tournament, and only the top 3 will win more than 2 games.

overrated conference IMO just because they dont have as much contenders as people think

Don't know why people rank 'Cuse so high. I know a ton of people living in Cuse get off on the team but I've watched enough of their games to know they are sloppy and overrated. I think GTown is better than their record, and WVU is good but not THAT good.

Pretty much agree with everything i've read here other than nd being that high, but agree completely about syracuse..

a lot of blind cuse homers on this board.

I'd be willing to swap the 5-7 spots in any order really. I don't think any of them is that much obviously better than the other.

I put them at 8 behind Gtown a team got killed by. That game was over in the first 10 minutes. I have no issue with Gtown at 8 but when you put Cuse at 4 and Gtown at 9 that makes no sense b/c Gtown beat them by 20.

I find it hilarious that everyone is so quick to crucify Syracuse when 3 of their losses have come @Pitt, @Georgetown, and vs. Louisville. I don't know many teams that would have done much better. I surely didn't expect them to beat Pitt on the road, and didn't expect them to beat the Hoyas on the road either. I mean should they have won at least 1 game, especially at home against the Cards? Yes, but still of those 3 losses 2 are to legit final 4 contenders. Am I justifying these losses? No not at all. I wouldn't rank Syracuse as high as I did earlier in the year, but good god, to all a sudden say they are horrible is awful. They led at Pitt in the 2nd half, and led Louisville with 2 mins to go, and Rautins, argbuably their best player, got hurt earlier in the half. People are quick to discredit their wins @ Memphis, who is proving to be a very good team, @Kansas, who also isn't hurting themselves, and Florida on a neutral court, and they seem to be the best or 2nd best in the SEC. Let the season play out a but before everyone leaves them for dead. This is still a talented team and 2 losses against 2 of the best in the nation isn't terrible.

Boy is everyone going to be upset next year when this whole team is back and they are pre season #1

I know Big East gets all the publicity about the best conference and all but the only one that has any type of gripe is the ACC
