I was going to take a pass this week and wait until the conference season started but there are a few games worth looking at.

Oklahoma-TCU
The Frogs have a pretty good D but with USC going down last night the Sooners should refocus and go for a #1 ranking this week. They should be able to run the ball and may shut down TCU completely. A bit of revenge here also as the Frogs took them out a couple of years ago.
Oklahoma -17.5

Louisiana Laff.-Kansas St.
I was high on the Cats as this year's KU last week but I believe Louisville exposed them and I'm thinking that all is not well in Aggieville. Louisiana Laff. can run the ball and I believe they will effectively. K St. probably wins but La. Laff. covers.
Louisiana Laffayette +21

Texas-Arkansas
Before this game got moved I was liking the points a lot. But now, if the Hogs can't hang with Alabama at home, I don't see them doing any better in Austin against the Horn's covering machine.
Texas -28

a small lean:
Colorado-Florida St.
I would feel better with a touchdown here but I kind of like the points with a confident Buffalo team over a down Seminole team.
Colorado +6

good luck to all

dont know why A&M isnt being talked about this weekend, they will drag the army knights behind the woodshed and teach them a lesson they'll never forget, dont go to kyle field when you're 0-3 and have lost 3 home games...1 of them being to a certain new hampshire in d-1aa, who was in fact favored on the road. army wont score any points

yep.

Dr Bob "Texas A&M should only be favored by 22 points..."

yeah, they should. until you realize ATM is playing the worst f'ing team ever, and against an Aggie team that gave up sheep for a week just to get a decisive W. Plus, the last time they played the Aggies almost lost. Talk about embarrassing, I think I'll go first half or first quarter with this.

I disagree...For as bad as Army is, they are still only giving up a little over 300 yards per game on defense... Texas A&M will have to work harder for the points than you think to get this cover...Plus many Army players on this team are from the state of Texas...And they came home and gave the Aggies all they could handle a couple years ago as 28 point dogs...I would never give up this many points from a bad A&M team. An A&M team who gave up 41 points to a bad Miami offense last week....No thanks.

Dr. Bob, cmon you can't take the guy seriously, if anything that means you should fade his analysis and roll with A & M.

exactly.

I wondered why the line went down to 27, he's it.

Dr. Bob is not good at evaluating strength of competition.

New Hampshire is better than anyone Texas A&M has faced outside of Miami.

the problem they had with Miami was more a coaching debacle than anything else. Jerrod Johnson hadn't had many reps with the offense and so they tried to run the ball at the Hurricanes too much (35times for only 87 yds) and that is Miami's defensive strength (16th). They should have just turned the kid loose (he had a good game) which is what I'm hearing will be the plan vs Army.

Has anyone seen Army play football here, they can't get the ball past the 50 yard line. They might not score any points at Kyle Field

ATM with a short field all day.

I took the first half -15.5, it's -16.5 most places.

I saw the game and I don't disagree with anything you said...But I'm just saying beware of teams who are trying new things every week and are still trying to find themselves..You never know what's going to show up..If you guys are on A&M I wish you the best..:toast:

sometimes u just gotta realize some "professionals" are outright frauds and you cant get trapped into their analysis. its just pure numbers and patterns. miami's d is very consistent and woulda stopped anything a&m threw at them, army is much worse. i dont care if army played them tough a couple years ago, different teams different year. sherman will run up the score and shut out the knights. GL and appreciate opinions

If you are taking A&M -27, you may have been smoking the peace pipe alitle too much. Last week, JJ had his first start and he did fairly well. After the game, alot of people were complaining asking if everyone was happy JJ finally went in and look what he did. They want McGee back in. However, JJ so far, has done better than McGee. McGee 0 Td's against Arkansas St. Jerrod 3 against New Mexico and 3 against Miami. He's still young and will be good one day, but he still has alot to learn. It may be too early for A&M to be giving up that many points. A&M should win pretty convincingly however 4 TD's may be too many. I'm staying away, good luck if you decide to bet on them.

your Aggies should win by 40+. It's hard to see when you are a fan. Army is that bad. And you guys are better than you think.
