Are they even taking phone wagers? Does anyone even have an account with these guys? Is this DOS attack for real or are they reorganizing?

The hundreds and hundreds of customers they got from RX are very quiet on this issue.

Sorry for the delayed response. We are still under attack, this I know. As Scott mentioned earlier, we hope to be up for this weekend if not sooner. And yes, we are taking all calls into the call center and handling them quite well.
Please stay tuned, we will definitely let everyone know when our website is back up and running 100%.
Thanks for your understanding.

BHB:

1. Do you still have the same affiliation with Legendz that you have had in the past ?

2. If so, why has Legendz' website been operating flawlessly for the last 2 weeks ? Aren't both your websites hosted by the same company ?

halifax - no offense my friend. but where and with whom our website is currently being hosted with, has no place being discussed in a public forum. lets leave it at that.

we will have the site back up ASAP. till then, wagers must be called in.

what else do you want to hear.

BlueMarlin claimed DoS attack which we now know was not true.

But let's play devil's advocate and just say they were in a little trouble. Why in God's name would you intentionally take down your website? The only reason I can think of is you had to relocate the server and even that would not take 3 weeks.

Another part of this that bothers me just a little is that these DoS attackers seem to know which books are big and which ones are not. Why a record long attack on the smallest book hit to date?

And the last thing that bothers me is that all of the other books setup multiple URL's and gave them secretly to their players forcing the DoS'ers to choose which address to block and that was effective. That could still be done today by BHB, so why isn't it?

More questions than answers.....

buzzsaw - you have no clue what your talking about.

for 1, we do have multiple url's. once you switch those on them a few times, they hit the host dirrectly.

i am done answering questions. you guys obviously have no clue.

would you want to discuss what your trying to do (to prevent these attacks) in a forum where the attackers can (abd have) read your info?

lol. use your heads

Best of luck Scott.

I know you guys are trying some different things, thinking outside the box. Keep up the efforts, you will reap the benefits.

Anyone with the slighest clue about what a DOS attact is, knows damn well that it does not last for this long.. the guys doing the attacks are professionels and do not target small-time books, and they do NOT keep on going for so long, making it easier to catch them..

So stop the damn lying about the DOS attack!

BHB ARE NOT DOWN DUE TO AN DOS ATTACK!

There is something more to this than DOS. I am talking from experience here. DOS attacks do not last this long.
