I know 6.5 points seems like a trap, but stats wise, it looks like a good play on Iowa.

How is this MSU different than the one that lost to La Tech at home and looked rotten last week?

Im not a John Smith fan either, he seems to give no discipline to his teams,as Louisville was horrible with penalties last year.

Remember last week when Iowa got no love and everyone and their mom was hyping up Arizona State? Well Iowa absolutely controlled that game and broke a lot of hearts. Vegas is hoping those people now jump on the Iowa train in this game, especially with the 6.5 line.

Michigan State is coming off a win vs a team losing respect from everyone (Notre Dame) which is not really being considered a "big win."

I liked MSU the second it opened and was lucky enough to grab +7.5. It will be a great game. Good luck with whatever you pick. You take Iowa and they win by 7 and we are both cash.

the average of power ratings(performanZ) have this at Iowa -13. With the highest at -22 lowest at -4.

This is one reason why I question the MSU value and push for Iowa and dont see a trap. Maybe they think the ND win means a lot more than the ASU win. Cant see why. Puzzling line to me.

OK, never really cared for power ratings unless they were my own, but you have your own methods and I hope you all the luck with them.

This was very profitable last year, I use it as a check system, as the averages are usually very close to the vegas line and when the average varies close to a TD, it gets my attention especially when none favor the other team.

Last weeks money was Houston.

This weeks look like Iowa and Utah.

easy. if smoker doesn't have to leave that game - msu runs tech out of the building. tech got 2 late tds to win it - and that never happens with smoker in the game. iowa played a PERFECT game last week. i LOVE betting AGAINST teams who played perfect games the past week - for they rarely do it 2 weeks in a row. the next week is usually a stinker. not sure if i will be on MSU +7 or on the M/L but when the ball is kicked off - i will have a MSU ticket in my possession.

Backing off Iowa, run defense by both looks very good, with MSU having a slight edge.

One thing also sticks out is a look ahead for Iowa to Michigan next week at the Big House.

I do like the under on this (52). Any thoughts.

BigPete - I agree with the under. I do think MSU is the play. The Spartans have always been a good team at home as a dog.
