Beware of the Road Favorites

To all you cappers,

A bit of a warning for today. I would be extremely careful in betting all of these road favorites. I can not tell you with exact certainty what the numbers are but I can tell you the odds are stacked big against you having a big day if you are taking these favorites. I would like to see some cappers come up with some original thought on these games to support some of these home dogs. I think it is going to be a long day for a lot of you but I hope I am wrong as like to see everyone hurt their man. But I will predict and wish I could bet it that more home dogs will cover than road favorites! Best of luck.

I like most of the home dogs. Rarely will I play a road favorite over 3. I'm not strictly a trend bettor but many stats back up the home dogs today.

Miami over Ny Jets

Go back over the 50 meetings since 1980 and tell me how many times the Jets have been favored by four or more points against the Dolphins. If your research turned up a big fat ZERO you have done your job. Don't think for a moment Miami can't win this game. Jay Fiedler is back at the helm and the Dartmouth Flash beat the Jets twice last season. Here's another little tidbit. Miami has given up an average of 15 points per game this year. The Airplanes are 12-66 ATS as favorites when they score less than 20, including a perfect 0-12 ATS in that situation when the opponent is off a SU loss as a favorite. maybe it's too hard for you to take the Dolphins here. But think how easy it was to take Minnesota last week.

I agree. A line is designed for a dog to cover not a favorite to win and I see way too many people take the chalk today. Those that do their homework and bet with home team will win. GL

I AGREE somewhat. I only see CLEV and TAMPA being good home dogs I think INDY rolls as do the Raiders. I think many are trying to force their will on home dogs winning, but watch out. NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND

Also look for CINNCY to be the upset ROAD DOG gl NEWPORT

Nice bit of information. I was thinking that game was too many points. Reports out of Miami is this kid Leonard Henry at running back may not be too bad of a player. If he can run for 75+ yards, I think this game will stay under the number. Best of luck.

I liked Cincinnati a lot earlier in the week but what really scares me is that their best offensive linemen Levi is out today. That is not a recipe for success with rookie quarterback playing on the road and especially in Pittsburgh. Best of luck as it is a no play for me.
