Hey guys I got a little problem with my book. I use betus and have had no complaints, I use them because I get good lines on dogs. I have a few friends that also use betus. For some reason I have been getting different lines at the same exact time. It started a few days ago when I placed a larger than normal bet. Now I get really shitty lines on all my dogs, a couple days ago he had boston -9.5 I get boston -9, I get houston +1 he gets +2.5, I get chicago +3 he gets +4.5, I get bobcats +4 he gets +4.5, I get LA -7 he gets LA -6. This is bogus, I log in the same time with my laptop right next to him. When I called support they gave me the run around of they have 2 different servers and maybe one updates slower than the other, I explained that this has been happening all week, yesterday I had bobcats at +9.5 and he gets +11 at the same time! wtf. If any of you have knowledge of betus or any sportsbooks shifting lines for certain accounts or to benefit off how someone tends to bet please let me know. This is just BS and really pisses me off. Needless to say I have to find a new book. Thanks guys and good luck.
i used them for several months, never noticed anything regarding the lines i got although i had heard about others having issues. the problem i had with betus was making a deposit. a couple of times i used my mastercard and they took the money from my bank account but never credited it to my betting account. they said they sometimes had issue with the cc server or whatever, but on those 2 occasions the money was refunded back to my card within 2-3 days, so no big deal really. about a month and a half ago this happened again, and when i talked to them they said i would get it back within a few days. after 2 weeks i contatcted them and they suddenly wanted me to send them a copy of my bank statement. i immediately closed my account with them. since then i have received several nice bonus offers -- something like a 100% match along with a $50 freeplay simply for coming back. i ignored their offers and they haven't contatced me in the last couple weeks. there are several reputable books out there that all it takes is getting screwed once to make me jump ship. fortunately, the only two books that have done me wrong are betus and sportsbook.com. needless to say, i don't use or recommend either book.
Caught them red handed back in Nov 08 giving me modified spreads to offset an NBA system strategy I was utilizing.. Got into a huge pissin match with an account manager who denied doing it.. Needless to say, I dropped them ASAP... They also have like a D+ rating over at SBR with long delays & headaches with payouts.. Other posters over in the service play threads today were saying that Bodog is now also doing the same things with point spreads... BUYER BEWARE....
I have been opening one window with BetJam and one with BetUs. I place the wager with the one that has the better line. I don't know how else to combat it.
I did see that they were now rated a c - at sportsbook review site. At this point I just want to clear my rollover and get the initial deposit back but it is going to take a few months.

The admitted to me that they have a algorithm that tracks your patterns and adjusts the lines accordingly. About 10 guys in my office use them and we are all getting different lines. They've been doing it for years. The guy I talked to claimed every online book did the same thing, but I've never seen it anywhere else.
I've had this same problem. I am a rather good MLB Handicapper, they had an idea who I bet on before I did. Me and a friend would compare lines, I would have 30 point difference some times. Instead of a +130 Dog, it would be even!
