Betting soccer draws

Hey guys, I've been a soccer fan since I was a kid. I started gambling about 4 or 5 years ago. On the long run I know I've lost some money and the reason is mainly I like to bet on favorites and since sometimes moneylines are so high I tend to parlay 2, 3 or even 4 favorites. Sometimes they work but usually there's one pick that ruins everything.

I like to read those threads that talk about a betting system and ask myself, is there really a system that actually works? Could be.
I've been looking at the scoreboard daily during the last few weeks and it comes to my attention that sometimes there are more draws than expected.

So you know that draws usually pay 2/1 or more, so according to my calculations d1g1t , if you hit more than 33% you will end up winning.

Today I took 20 draw bets on the international friendly games and I hit 9 games and ended up 8 units. Not bad for one day!

I won't be posting every single pick but I'll try to keep track of the record
and also let you guys know which leagues I choose to bet on.

I hope this can help and I'm open to any input.

nice strategy mate, and surely won more than I did on these friendlies today. I wish I had some more draws amongst them.
I also started betting with parlays as I assumed that was how the money was made. It does, IF you hit it, but indeed most of the times there's just that single game that ruins it all. Now I mostly play singles, but I still play parlays from time to time. In that case I stake less or I try to keep the number of bets in the parlay to a maximum of 4.

Good idea... to keep on the subject of draws, look into 1st half DRAW bets. the probability of draws are even higher, although odds are lower, but the risk is lower compared to full game results.

I have tried the same system with the french and italian games coz those are tend to end in a draw, so i bet for one of the first weeks and i end up with extreme loss there was only one draw out of 15 pick lol and the next week there was about 7 out of 15 why coz i didn't bet on them..but its great system to bet on from time to time but still need a little luck with it.. my idea was f you take all 10 games to Tie in one league and you hit 3 of them @ 3.0 or 3.3 or 3.9 you will end up even or with a small profit.. half time is my next target.

Parlays / Accumulators are every bookmaker's goldmine. Bookmakers put a margin on every market, for example if there are three outcomes and all outcomes are equally likely, the the odds should be:

2/1, 2/1, 2/1

However, if a bookmaker offered these odds they would never make any money. So the bookmaker puts a margin on the odds, usually around 5-10%. The odds then end up being:

1.85/1, 1.85/1, 1.85/1

This margin gets multiplied when doing accumulators. For example several singles with the margin 5% can combined into doubles with margin 10.25%, triples with margin 15.765% and so on...

But of course, if you are sure that you have a consistent edge on EVERY game you play on, that edge will be multiplied in your advantage. For example, a 5% edge on all singles will lead to a 10.25% edge on doubles and so on...

Punters/Bettors are generally intrigued by the chance of winning big instead of small and often and bookmakers make money on this

I wish I had captured all that profit but instead I just won a couple of small bets.

LOL I also gave it a try today, placing small bets on a draw on all games in Italy and ended up with a profit
