This will be an ongoing season-long thread showing the "consensus" selections from our 12 man NHL contest thread.
Since contestants can post their selections at any time up to the puck drop on day's final scheduled game, the "consensus" on any given evening could change, or it could even see some selections be disqualified if in favor at say, 7pm EDT and then by west coast games, contrary selections result in removing a game off that night's consensus.
THUS, the bottom line is that this "consensus" should mainly be used as another indicator in anyone's handicapping of NHL.

In order to qualify as a Consensus selection, the Side or Total must be chosen by at least three contestants and must be at least +3
If selected by:
Three or four contestants: 3-0, or 4-0
Five contestants: 4-1 or better
Six contestants: 5-1 or better
Seven: 5-2 or better
Eight: 6-2 or better
Nine: 6-3 or better
Ten: 7-3 or better
Eleven: 7-4 or better
Twelve: 8-4 or better
ANY MEMBER of our contest is welcome to post the "Consensus" of the moment prior to 7pm EDT starts.
Sometime between 630-700pm EDT is probably best.
I'll do my best to use my Moderator editing powers to modify that post during the course of the evening as any later contestant entries are posted.
And I'll also keep up with the daily summaries and SeasonToDate tallies.
