December 31st. I will miss them. They will be giving acocunt holders their money back.

People in the know more than me can confirm this, but believe CANBET bought them out or accounts at least can be transferred there for free.

Anybody with any defintie info on this, dont let nothing but fear hold you back.

BetAustralia, a division of IAS bet is closing down. BetAustralia focussed on N. American and International sports while IAS focussed on Aussie sports.

IAS recently bought out Canbet and so it makes sense to have only one N. American and International sportsbook.

I got a call a couple of days ago and agreed to having my BetAustralia balance transferred to Canbet. I don't yet have the confirmatory email and did not verify the date.

I will miss NFL -102 Wednesdays at BetAustralia.

Just FYI:

Spoke to a lovely sounding "Julie". My 29xx balance was/is being dispersed to me the following way: 2500 via Neteller (received in under 15 min.) and the balance transferred to my Canbet acct. (may take up to a week, they say).

All in all a professional way to close your doors.

Sad day indeed, Betaustralia was one of my favorites before they gave up the reduced juice. When they first started out they were one of the few to offer 10% reup bonuses even if last transaction was a withdrawal AND reduced juice. They also used to be one of the first books to come out with the next weeks line on sunday evening, around the same time as Pinny, CRIS and the Greek. They were also one of the few books I beat consistently, year in and year out. I beat these guys like a bongo drum for about 3 years. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, if it is too good to be true....
