Didn't include 1991 UNLV because they lost in the final four.

phi slamma jamma

The Phi Slama Jama Cougars advanced to the NCAA Final Four each year from 1982 to 1984.

The 1982-83 season marked the high point of Phi Slama Jama. The Cougars posted an Associated Press #1 ranking, a 31-2 record and a 26 game winning streak before losing in the NCAA Final. Considered one of the most unlikely upsets in NCAA tournament history, Phi Slama Jama lost a closely contested championship game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack by a score of 54-52. The final margin was decided on a last-second dunk by Wolfpack forward Lorenzo Charles.

Has to be '85 Georgetown; Villanova shot an impossible 75+% from the floor and still only won by 2; only one close would be the '07 Patriots.

Buffalo Bills 4 Super Bowl Losses in a row

Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith & co.

If they had of been 4 wins in a row instead of losses & they would be considered one of the greatest dynasties...

Villanova played them tough twice during the season, so an upset wasn't unthinkable. Then again, 'nova did go lights out that night and barely won.

'83 Houston was a bigger upset, imho
