Hey,

I'm looking to get back into betting hockey this year, and I was wondering what the best book would be for that. I used to go through the Greek, but I clicked on hockey there and they don't have any lines or props listed. Any info on this or a site you recommend?

Hello Budi........

I recommend 5 Dimes for your game picks because they offer -1 puck line if you are interested in taking those bigger favorites...... Instead of laying -160, -170, etc......by laying the one, chances are it will be at plus money and that is a good thing. You may encounter a few ties along the way that you wouldn't have had happen at even money or -1/2 but its well worth it.

For totals, I 'd make sure to get more than one book so you can shop around and get the best numbers on the total side you are interested in. (5Dimes, TheGreek, Matchbook, BookMaker, Legendz).

Good luck to you this year in your hockey wagers.

you can create your own -1 puck line by simply betting 1/2 your wager at the -1.5 odds, and the other half on the ML.
