I believe it's Steve Nash. When you consider every level of shooting was there actually anyone better? I understand he wasn't just a 3 point gunner, so many times he isn't even mentioned in the conversation in the best shooters in the NBA, but i think he was the best. Never got an easy shot, and still had 4 seasons of 50/40/90.

For the different levels of shooting i don't think anyone was better than Nash.

edit: Title should have been, best shooters in NBA history.

One could argue those suns teams were the pioneers of how basketball is played now. I understand they never made it past the west finals, but 8 seconds or less, was the rough draft.

I'd go Curry.

Nash is certainly right up there. Curry has him in range and shot types.

It's like there was Mark Price a super accurate shooter but was pretty vanilla, the Nash came along and was an improvement on him by adding variety and range. The Curry came along and was an improvement on Nash with even more range and variety.

You could make a decent case for Nash. But hard to pick anyone over Curry. He's just something like we've never seen before.

One guy that was a great pure shooter that was always underrated was Jeff Hornacek. Fantastic mid-range jumper. Always up near the top of the league in free throw %. And was a very good 3 point shooter as his career progressed.

I remember watching a guy play by the name of Dale Ellis and always thought he was a sharpshooter. Don't even know what his career % is.

Obviously i can't argue against Curry. I do think Nash though is way underrated and needs to be brought up every time when talking about the greatest shooters in the NBA.

His four years in Seattle were extraordinary and weirdly amazing given that his other 12 yrs in NBA were middlin' at best

Reggie miller was so fun to watch.

He ran like 30 screens while people on his tail.

Then catch, turn shot off balance...hands cross in the air.

And he makes it

I agree with Reggie Miller. Back in the day Chris Mullin was pretty good too

Today probably Curry

I always liked Hersey Hawkins or Scottie Brooks on the Sixers. Both could hit a clutch 3

Curry by far.

Larry Bird was amazing and one if the best clutch shooters of all time.

Kyle Korver is a great pure shooter.

I agree, those Suns were ahead of their time.
