Alright...now the next game has Dallas -280, while the series price is -300.

Will the -550 (orginal series price) favorite Dallas Stars lose two consecutive HOME games?

I am merely betting they won't.

As such, IF the -280 Stars win their next game...ask yourself what the series price on Edmonton becomes? Greater then +300?

I think so...

IF the Stars lose their next game...one may ride out the series until a final game, then covers orginal -300 series wager on the STARS, with the OILERS.

Today's SERIES Price is relative to Tomorrow's Price.

Think about it.

#1 seed an eventual Stanley Cup champs lost 1st 2 at home last year vs Vancouver. Thats why you have to win 4.

Pop the cork, light the cigar and enjoy the rest of this competitive series...regardless of who wins.

Spives--your bet makes little sense--as Bobby B stated it was a poor investment, you just happened to win (a little). You would have been much wiser to bet Dallas to win the second home game at -280 -- 280 wins 100.

Instead you have -300 to win 100 on the series and have to bet some of that off at +420 on Edmonton to guarantee your profit. How much are betting off? To split it down the middle you'd have to bet 77 to win 323 or +23 on both sides of the bet.

If you were so sure that Dallas wouldn't lose two games at home (Detroit did), you should have bet Dallas on the $-line to win the second game. That was a wiser bet.

Careful on how much you spend on the champagne as you may drink up all your profits.

old-dog. s. seems to mean well and hes polite. he will learn.

otherwise it looks liek EVERYONE is doing pretty well so far in playoffs. lets hope it continues. just wish the refs would let them play. if clubs are given alternate power plays for sixty minutes it give bit of an edge to teams with skilled players who feast on power play, and never mind that its horrid to watch!

If little sense makes money, I am gulity as charged. I have little wisdom, and yet this play was profitable as predicted. One is entertained by with such wisdom of those who critize other's winnings. Do you profess the same on the losses?

No middle spilt...proportional.

Never cared or mentioned Detroit, mute point. Yet you are repetitive...reference initial comment you made.

Profits are meant to be enjoyed...or what's the point of playing? You should give it a try once in a while yourself.

Spives--congrats on the big win--"Amount Paid: 4,583.25 Sport/Period: NHL Hockey / Game Teams: Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars
Wager Line: Dallas Stars -1.5 +125"

But....to win 4583.25 on a +125 dog, you would have had to bet 3666.60??? That sure is a unique bet amount. Another sign of your brilliance?

In addition, I recognize that as a Pinnacle ticket--Pinnacle only allows a max of 3 dimes on a hockey bet. I think we all have you figured out.

$2,037.00 amount wagered won $2,546.25. (Do the math and see if this is correct...just what my records indicate)

Yep, $2,037.00 + $2,546.25 = $4,583.25

If you really knew Pinnacle, you would KNOW that the AMOUNT PAID, as indicated, is the amount wagered + what was won at the given odds.

I am dishearted by your ignorance.

You really are full of dollars and NON-sense.

Speaking of figuring out others, how about just focusing on "figuring" out how to read winning tickets as well as learning some 3rd grade math?

As such, I remain unconvinced that one can teach an old dog anything...let alone new tricks.
