For my money, i have to say when you consider everything no one beats the MANDALAY BAY.

The wave pool and lazy river make it for me. Not to mention the house of blues restaurant...i was blown away by their food, just delicious.

What do you guys think?

A buddy of mine just couldn;t get enough of the old Silver City casino, i guess he had something for that dump LOL

Funny thing was if you see the movie Vegas vacation with the goofy games they played, i am sure that was filmed there before they boarded up.. Games like pick a number, guess which hand..

Brock:

Mandy is great, as is Bellag, Venetian, Paris Aladdin and the new Maloof Casino.

Fact is any of the newer properties are great - they are built that way.

If your buddy liked Silver City, take him to the Frontier.

Nope. That stuff was filmed at the old
Pioneer Club downtown.

Mandalay Bay is tighter with their comps than a 16 yr old virgin is with her cherry.

Joey,

I haven't been out there since last summer, is Silver City still boarded up?

How the hell can such valuable property stay like that?

They need to implode all that crap, including the Rivera and build up the North end some..

I was also told that scene was at silver city.

If I am with my wife Bellagio is our choice because it has the best of everything.

Out with the guys has to be the palms, hard rock,or Mandalay Bay.

I was watching a Dodger/Cardinals game in the book last summer, got excited and pull out my cellphone to call my buddy, the jackass behind the counter practucally jumped on me to turn it off or leave the room. No idea why they need to make such a big deal out of it..

Have to add the sports book at the Mirage being awesome because of the California Pizza Kitchen located right next to it, fabulius food and sports betting within 20 feet of each other. Doesn't get much better than that.

There is a Good Deli right next to the RIO sportsbbook, plus the waitresses skimpy outfits excite me more than when i hit a 4 team parlay.

The Stardust is old but they have more 1st halflines and 2nd half lines than any book i have seen in Vegas. The CAL, FREMONT have the same lines as Stardust. The Palms is great to hang around at and so is the Hardrock. Most Pool parties around this time of the year are pretty good. The Monte Carlo's single 0 Roulette wheel are a must.

If you are in the 25-35 year old category, HARD ROCK HOTEL...HANDS DOWN!!!

Just got back from Vegas. Mandaly is very sleek, but Hard Rock is truly a Rock and Roll Hotel.

For Jake's age bracket, the Palm is a straight out meat market.

I did hit Rain...all I can say is WOW. I do wish I had spent more time at the Palm. Oh well, I guess I will have to go back.

Brock,

Mandalay Bay would be one of my choices as well. Even better than the house of blues is the bar in the middle of the casino floor. The Oasis- or something like that. Anyway, my buddies and I accurately renamed this the Ho-bar. You can go there anytime after 4pm and find lots of very nice looking ladies who are pleasant and courteous even when you pretend you don't know that they are high priced hookers.
I was there with 12 other guys so you can imagine the fun we had there. We went club hopping via Limo all day but always ended up at the Ho-bar.

The Mandalay Bay is right up there but my top choice is the Venetian. Best rooms, service and restaurants. The comps are a little tight but once they know you they will bend a little to accomodate you.
