Have played horses at a handful of books. In terms of comfort, drinks, short lines to get a wager in while they're loading, I'd recommend the Bellagio. For viewing, you should be able to get a seat with your own TV, although like most venues, they typically put active races on one of the big screens.

Bar none Vegas Hilton.
Huge screens for multiple tracks.
During NFL they still have the huge screens for horse wagering.

The Hilton is ok, but they aren't that great when it comes to drink service.

It all depends on what your looking for. If you like quiet thats one thing and theres places for that. If your looking for droves of people that's another. To me and I lived there for 13 years so I know the place well, ....I need someone that can bring me drinks constantly without long waits and I need some quiet...not funeral quiet but...and short lines. I hate window handicappers. So heres a list i'll give you.

South Point .....prompt drink service, great tellers, super fast! and medium noise sits at the dead end of the casino which is nice. Experienced players play here

Green Valley Ranch......Large, Dark, huge screens, great tellers and fast drink service.

Bally's .....I always liked this place the way its set up. Hot girls, dressed like NFL ref's more experienced players play here.

Wynn- home of several nice handicapping contests. love horse players

Rio-- I like this place because its quiet. No lines.

I'm not going to play horses to be seen for a beauty contest. I want fast tellers, good drinks and peace so I can concentrate.

hope I helped.

Was thinking more of books along the strip, but Southpoint is the place I spent the most time at and I endorse it. The Teller's are outstanding and the drink service is good. However, I've been shut out on more than 1 occasion by a window handicapper.
