Best 2014 Opener?

Guessing this is subject to debate but the best opening game for 2014 is LSU vs. Wisconsin. Two teams that have been good year in and year out and should be strong again this season. Talk about a slugfest.........

I considered the Clemson/Georgia game but went with LSU/Wisconsin. I think the Badgers have a good chance to win the Big Ten this season. Their schedule is tough but they don't have to play Michigan, Michigan State or Ohio State during the regular season. LSU will reload after a somewhat disappointing season (10-3) and be a player in the SEC West.

Okie State is going to get skulldragged by FSU in the opener. Gundy can't be looking forward to this game.

CL, I was just listing the games there so others would know who the better opening weekend games are....that wasn't my ranking.

I think UGA/Clemson will be ugly because they are both going w/ new QBs. Clemson just suspended 4 players and I'm sure UGA will have it's usual 4-6 others out (for smoking weed or skipping class).

I agree w/ you on the LSU/Wisky game. I think LSU wins, but they are going w/ a new QB and that will have an impact on their first few weeks. I'd LOVE to see Wisconsin win the BIG!
