considering "GZ" was a "milkshake" wonder from a "milkshake" trainer....I'D say he gets "bounced"...unless of course belmont is not testing yet....until the "BELMONT" comes around in two weeks........:icon_conf :sad3:

actually...you're probably right.....Frankel's too smart....he's probably been using the "Barry Bonds" cocktail....ie....they don't check horses for "ROIDS" yet....

Which means "GZ" the horse from outta the blue will roll off....I just can't bet the horses anymore....unless the "master" posts something juicy.....

by the way...where the ==== are you Mazeltrick????...although you're not obligated....I'm holding my breath and turning blue....:monsters-

Zero value?

What about a $44 exacta on 2-all?

or how about a $175 trifecta on 2-all-all

That's the same as betting him to but with better payouts

I love short filed faves in exotics with all. Excellent value.

.....agreed, but I made my bets early in the AM and w/o knowin the probables , I was only considering a WIN bet that i figured would be in the 3/5 range .........as it turned out there WAS value in the exotics , but I wasn't around to search em out at post time ...........dont mess w/ exactas too much there anyway as the takeout is too high ..........prefer to pick spots and flat bet 'em ............will play the pick 4's on carrover and guaranteed days , but am primarily a WP bettor ...............keep in mind that that exacta was with the longest shot on the board and the 3rd place horse was the second longest .................in a short field that wont happen very often ...........

That isn't value, that is hoping for the longest shot on the board. Why would you use all? If you think there is 'value' in a 20-1 and 50-1 shot in a 6 horse field, just bet them in the exacta and triple. Any other combination you would lose.

That is not true. In looking at the exacta payouts before the race, only Forest Danger finsihing second would have cost me money. Sometimes, in a small field with a big favorite, you can make money. I figured FD would kill himself trying to keep up with GZ, but I bet him for insurance. All I am saying is that (if you get lucky), the bet is a nice gamble with value. Luckily the 35-1 hot came second and FD stopped in the middle of the race. But I THOUGHT that it would happen and did. And for what I thought would happen, it paid off much better than betting 3-5 win odds. every exacta besides GZ-FD was better odds thna the win odds. The tri you just have to hope you get paid off well. Which I did.

ok then I take back what I said. If you are looking at those payoffs before the race you're right if you can find a spot like that. Especially like you say where it looked like Forest Danger might get used up in a speed duel.
