Im going to give you two winners for today:

Oregon +17.5 Ducks are one of the few teams that can match up athletically with the Illini. Illinois getting some extra credit for routing Wake and being No. 1. Oregon has two freshman who are studs, they will be fun to watch along with soph Brooks.

Pepp +1.5 Waves much better than sad-sack UCLAns who added injury to insult losing leading scorer. Waves should be able to stomach short bus ride to Westwood and be home in time to celebrate on the beach with bikini-clad Malibuans.

from o.c. register

The waves come in on a 7 game win streak that includes a a 75-61 win over wisconsin and are ranked #4 in the collegeinsider.com mid major poll. a victory over bruins would give them their best start since going 8-1 in 75-76. forward glen mcgowan is a tough matchup for ucla. he had 27pts and 13 reb. in a victory wed. over unlv and is leading pepp with 17.9 ppg he has also hit 7 three pointers third on team. alex acker 15.6 ppg and y. diawara 14.1 ppg are offensive threats as well. ucla will be withoutd. thompson its leading scorer and rebounder who could be out for the month.
