Three things I like about this game,
1.niners are just horrible, and with the bears defense they will force the niners qb's into several mistakes. I dont see the niners scoring a lot of points.
2. Orton is so much better then Grossman, 2 years ago I would of said no way e.g., last game before the playoffs where Grossman came in and lit it up. Then losing to Carolina, but yet still threw the ball well.
Oh have things changed. Though I am still critical of the play calling, I am starting to wonder if maybe it wasn't so much the play calling as it was the talent. They would never throw the ball to the outside with jones on a linebacker over the top, I have seen the bears try it several times already with forte. I also like the when a tackler was 3 yards in the backfield just as forte received the handoff he juked once and was by him. Last year Benson would of got caught for a 3 yard loss. MM dropped more big passes the last 2 years I gave up counting, Davis has emerged as a number 1, you watch, and if bradley or big bad #23 can give them anything--look out. The bears have speed all over the field, lets just hope they start using it. THe three tightends all look great, and if booker can give them big 3rd catches, I love what the bears will do and win the division...easily. Yes, easily you heard it here first.
With a suspect line, yes, suspect. Lets see how it goes. Gotta get younger, but I think they have enough to get it done to make the playoffs.
3. Lets not forget, if the bears offensive can stay on the field, the defense will dominate again. Brown is back, and lets hope they all stay healthy. A weak central will provide a bounce back year for the bears.
Forte - rookie of the year
Orton - comeback player of the year
as good as it gets.
