Beach Suggestions

im going to the beach in a couple of days and would like opinions on places to go. im looking to go to a all inclusive resort but prices seem pretty expensive. any advice would be much appreciated.

Kind of depends on what you want to do.

I'm partial to Montezuma, but not is not a "resort". Inexpensive in a good way though. An enclave of foreigners, hippies and backpackers.

BTW, I'm curious if Montezuma gets crowded during Samana Santa, or if remains isolated from the throng of Tico beach go'ers.

Carribean is off as there are no resorts there, dirt cheap accomodations (which are also FAR FAR from top of the line)

Ocotal in Playas del Coco is very nice, you have El Coco nearby which typically has a decent night life, far away if you are going just for 1 or 2 days

Punta Leona is nice but most likely booked months ago...........

Not sure that you can get anything that is less than 150 /night and "all included" so close to Easter

My favourite all inclusive hotel is Barcelo in Tambor.

Check out Villas Del Caribe in Playa Chiquita Limon, the rates are good the food is excellent, and it is a full on apartment that overlooks the ocean. The view is great and the snorkeling is great there especially if you like checking out the reef(er).
