BCS BULLSHIT please explain?

Anyone who agrees with the BCS system explain this one to me, USC is ranked 6th in the country and LSU is ranked 10th now. They are both 1 loss teams with LSU just losing to #1 Florida and USC losing to 3 loss Washington. LSU won at Washington first ...game of the season. Someone please explain how USC is ranked higher?!? I dont understand!

USC has the favor in the hands cause of thier rep..

Its always been USC this USC that. Kinda think of them as the Duke of basketball, The Yankees of baseball, The Cowboys Of NFL, Arod of tennis, beckam of Soccer etc etc....

You see my point, they will always get more reconition then any team in the South outside the Gators.

All we can hope for is the Irish to beat em in south bend.. ANY TAKERS?!?!?

Who would you take in a neutral site ? Most would take USC ! USC would be favored too !

from what I heard yesterday, the bcs is completely different than the ap or coaches poll... they boise st was 3rd.

and usc would not score 24 points on lsu defense, get a grip guys. I'll take the flo offense any day over the usc

the bcs will need to explain when they have a okie st team ahead of houston

lsu made it to MNC game with 2 losses not too long ago...including a late season loss to Ark. LSU fans do not get to bitch at all

It's better to loose early than later so that is mostly the reason you see them behind USC. If USC and LSU both lost last week, LSU would be ahead of them still. USC lost but then blew out Cal and had another win to recover a little. USC also beat Ohio St so maybe if LSU would have played a better team than Washington in week 1 or 2 they would still be higher. Lets face it LSU hasn't beat anyone yet and hasn't looked good even when they won. If they can win out, they will jump USC but there is no way they are good enough to do that.

BCS still blows so I'm not defending just trying to answer your question.

I am not an LSU fan, I am a Georgia fan. I am not picking sides here, thats not the argument. Claiming that USC would beat LSU is besides the point...I could care less if they ever played each other! My argument is that the BCS makes no sense at all! I just want to hear someone explain to me after the points I have made earlier why USC is ranked higher? I think it is because the media has their head all the way up Pete Carrols ass!

the polls are absolutely meaningless right now. to get all worked up over it now is futile. Wait til the end of the year and then whine and complain about rankings.

exactly.. the Trojans are overrated every year. not meaning that past years they have not been worthy of thier rank, but even in yrs where they are "supposed" to be rebuilding.. they will still be ranked high. ND has no chance of beating USC. They're defense is will get destoyed. Wisconsin showed that the chains can be moved, but can you convert in the redzone??

but anyways yes i agree, the BCS is all about politics and when it comes down to the end of the year you'll have teams like USC getting more respect then deserved.

With all this being said.. USC wins out.. mark this post

The Georgia Yech Yellow Jackets went into playing Miami ranked 14. They get beat, hammerd! They fall COMPLETLY out of the rankings. Come back next week and dominate North Carolina. No Top 25 reconition??

Then, USC is ranked 3rd and they lose to Washington LOL..
They drop to 12, come back next week and beat Washinton St
24-7 and are back to 7?!?

Ok.......? Some things in life just have to be excepted and this is one of those fuckin things!!

When you play UW, LA Lafayette, Vanderbilt and Miss. St. to account for 4 of your 5 wins, you don't deserve to be ranked at all. Even UGA is a milquetoast win.

As far as USC losing to UW... what else is new? When does USC NOT lose a game they are supposed to win every year?

SEC teams should not complain.
LSU
ALA
FLA

All 3 can lose 1 game(LSU already did) and still get to the BCS Championship all they have to do is win the SEC championship.
