BCN Sports FINAL SHOWDOWN Starts Tomorrow! Rules Inside You Need To Know!

This is it guys. For the $500 Cash Grand Prize compliments of BCN Sports.

So far, we have 4 official entries confirmed for the Finals. Monthly winners ATS HotSheet, soli, RobFunk and KIDSLICK are in. Tonight's action will determine the remaining 11 finalists.

This will be a 14 day tournament (Apr 7-Apr 20) to crown the BCN Sports NBA Contest Champion.

Eligibles: The 5 Monthly Winners + the next Top 10 overall Money Leaders.

After discussions with The General, we have adopted these rules for the FINAL SHOWDOWN. Pay special attention to Rules #3 and #4.

1) As has been the case throughout the season, The General will post lines each day. If a game is not posted with lines, it cannot be used as a play.

2) You can play up to a maximum of 3 plays per day but you do not have to play everyday.

3) You must have a minimum of 30 plays to qualify for the Grand Prize. With 14 days, there will be 42 plays possible.

4) Here is the new wrinkle. This is totally optional on your part. You will be allowed to assign a unit value (either 1, 2 or 3) to each one of your picks each day. The stipulation is:

* Only ONE 3 unit play will be permitted per day.
* Only ONE 2 unit play will be permitted per day.
* If you desire, you can play all 1 unit plays.

With these options, you can win up to $600 or lose up to -$660 in any one day.

Obviously, each play will be graded according to the unit value placed on it:

1 unit: -110/100
2 unit: -220/200
3 unit: -330/300

You must designate your 2 and 3 unit plays, by placing ** or *** before/after the pick or by using (2) or (3) before/after it. No designation is necessary for any 1 unit play. If none is given, it will be assumed to be a 1 unit play. Remember, only one (2) unit play and one (3) unit play per day is allowed. Once again, please keep each pick on a separate line, one below the other.

5) The capper with the highest money total at the end of play on April 20th will be declared the winner.

I don't think I will be making any plays tonight....so I will win this month and I will be the overall leader going into the Final Showdown. By me winning this month and finishing on the top, I think I give the 11th place guy a spot in the Final Showdown...Correct?
