I'll take the strong dog in Boston College who I expect to win OUTRIGHT so I am taking the +115 moneyline. With UNC missing their best players in starting qb T.J. Yates and WR Brandon Tate, the tar heels will be fighting an uphill battle against one of the nations fiercest defenses. This BC team was 1 3pt loss away from a perfect 6-0 record and the team success is coming from the top 4 defense in the nation. In 3 out of the last 4 games they have allowed 1 offensive TD. All being at home but they do have a road shut out under their belts and in the last road game they gave up 3 with 1 being a 61 yard play.

BC has the 5th best passing defense and with the tar heels missing their top offensive weapson, they showed their struggles in a devastating 16-13 point loss to uva last week. UNC scored only 1 td in that game. UNC does have a tough defense of their own but one big difference is now that yates is out BCs has the more athletic qb who could possibly fend off the opposing defense a little better. Chris Crane already has 7 rushing TDs this season. I believe the tar heels defense has to have loss some confidence after allowing a 82 yard 9 play drive in the final minute of the game. Coming off that hurtbreaking ot loss and dealing with key injuries should cost them a victory in what should be a physical chanllenging football match. Dont forget Tar heels also looked bad against ND being down double digits halfway through the game and needing a 4th qtr td to win. Tar heels wont do enough on offense and BC will make sure to limit their turnovers to get this W.

GL, I am on the other side. BC has turned the ball over 15 times in the last 4 games and UNC is +8 in TO margin.

BC is one of the teams under the radar. Trend: Dogs are 2-0-0 in last 2 years, BC has 4 straight over, Under would be a good bet too at 41.5

I like BC as well.

709, I also like your call on the under. I see this as a 24-10 or 21-13 type game.

The BC defense will be without middle linebacker Brian Toal for the rest of the year. He broke his leg last week. He's the best player on that defense and is a future pro.

BC is also incredibly stout on the DL. With UNC being without their #1 wideout (Tate), I don't think UNC can score enough to stay in this one.

Of course, if BC turns it over at a high rate, UNC could score on a short field.

Playing the OVER at 42. I think BC will win though, and that the wrong team is favored in this game

They have more than just 1 good defensive player. Plus I think the back up taking his spot is a senior so things shouldnt be that much different. Early 10 point deficit looks to be that uphill battle I was talking about.

From a die hard heels fan, I think it was a good thing that Nicks gets to show off. Im sorry that Yates got hurt but since that weve been killing teams. Dont know what the hell happened last week but were Peach Bowl bound!!
