Baylor's crappy conservative 4th Q performance killed a parlay and many others.

Felt the need to tell somebody and figured RX'ers could sympathize.

Ducks are gonna ROUT the Buckeyes. Bama is fortunate because they saved themselves some enormous embarrassment. The truth about the SEC and ESPN's preposterous glorification of the SEC is out of the bag.

Just thought i'd spark up some controversy.

First of all, $1.53? Really? Next, what is the "refunded" wager and why? Lastly, ditto DC.

the wisconsin game total ended on 65 so I imagine the "refunded" term is the same as a push

only if you risk over $2.00

exactly...it's $1.53 into $526 !

The reason for $1.53 is because it would've been $1000 if they all hit (but the Wisconsin Over Push dropped the odds).

One could argue "gambling is for suckers".

Don't fool yourself into thinking your a sharp or a shark because you don't wager parlays.

I've won more than i've wagered on parlays. Like all bets, it requires discipline, knowledge, and experience.

C'mon, it's fun to turn $1 & change into $1000 !!! One day i'm gonna hit one of these...just gotta wager another 1,000 parlays...

Up by 3 TD's a few minutes into the 4th. Too bad, but at least it happened early in the parlay. Would have been awful if it was the last game or two.

True. But it sucked watching all the other picks fall into place like "Jackpot" symbols on a slot machine... with the second one off kilter.

I'm used to it. Not the first one i've missed by a hair. And i've won a few parlays with some lucky 4th Q turnarounds.

It all blends together and i've become de-sensitized to the ups and downs. Call it maturity, wisdom, and experience. Or call it getting old and having gambled too much. When i get my bankroll up i'm gonna hit a big one with 2 more zeros one of these years!!!

Almost a great hit, pal. Keep shooting for them. I paid off the wife's car first half of NFL this season on 5 play 3T round robins. If you're running hot go for the damn payday, right?

After reading some posts and from personal experience...the reason i bet parlays is because it allows me to wager on my "hunches" without risking much.

After years of betting, I don't bet hunches and i don't bet on games unless I feel it's a strong play. There are many times, especially in my past, that i've wagered big money on games that I only partially researched and that i only partially believed in because i wanted the "action". After losing much, i've figured out a strategy where i only bet "strong" bets and then for my hunches, i put them in parlays... That way, you still have something to root for while watching games you're not quite sure how to bet (and it's particularly fun for games that i normally would have no interest in), and occasionally you can hit a parlay. Also, sometimes you have a final bet in a parlay and you can hedge your bets to lock in some profit.

If parlays are for suckers, then i guess i'm one. I recommend trying this strategy out.

Thanks nitty. I love me some parlays! Spectacular hits on your round robins! Nice to pay the bills. Football is definitely the sport of choice for parlays/round robins for me
